Tim. You gotta do a 100 percent to dead test on mode 2 with dual motors the whole way. I think that’s the way most people would ride the King GT. I know that’s what feels good to me more 2-3 is good. Thank you. Keep up the good vids.
Hi Tim, I did a comparison of range with single vs dual motor using a different scooter and found that the difference in range was negligible. The benefit of using dual motors is that it places less strain on the motors and provides better top speed and hill climbing performance whilst achieving very similar range to using single motor. A number of other people have conducted the same test with their scooters and arrived at the same outcome. Nice review as always 👍🏻, jealous of the hot weather as it’s winter here in Oz. I personally don’t like the horizontal thumb throttle as it isn’t as ergonomic as a vertical thumb throttle, trigger throttle or twist throttle.
@Daney Zidaney I think you're right...the physics of it makes sense to me ...that the difference would be negligible if any at all. ..however sharing the load with the other motor would for sure take some strain off the single motor and of course keep the temperature down on the controller...I just didn't like spinning the tires at every stop sign :) I think I can adjust the P settings to get it to be less robust off the line...and also if I can figure out cruise control I'll do it again and go further :)
@Nico Werschler thanks for watching :) :) It was fun to do...I might be doing another one and push it even further ...this time using cruise control and both motors :) Cheers
Hey for cruise control. You need to long press the m button within 5 seconds of turning the scooter on. That’s how you access all your extra components like cruise control!
You can set cruise control on automatic or manual. Automatic is when you hold trottle more than 3 sec in same speed, manual is hold speed steady an hold minus button 3 sec That you can set in advanced meni when you turn on scooter in first 10 sec hold M you will enter in advanced meni. If you wait more than 10 sec after turn on scooter then just will reset trip.
@Блашко Ливриновски thank you so much...I'll check that out..I like the idea of it being automatic as that's how I ride typically...just cruising :) Thanks again,.....it drove me a bit crazy on the ride having to keep my finger on the throttle...I could do it but it was fatiguing :)

@Milo you're so right...once I realized I needed to setup a password then I was able to login and turn on Cruise Control...life is good ...I have another range test coming up (I shot it on Sunday)...releasing itit on Sunday :)
I wish i had more roads where i could go 25 or slower. Out in the midwest in the country there really isnt any bike lanes or trails that can take you anywhere. Ya wind up having to do 35 most of the time. Ya still get decent miles but nowhere near what you could if ya take your time.
I picked up a Wolf King GT Pro in October and had been skeptical of their range claims. I took a ride in the Silver Comet Trail that goes from Smyrna, GA to the Alabama State line. For this trip I left Smyrna and went to Rockmart, GA then returned to Smyrna again. Once back I rode around locally a few more miles. I begrudgingly kept it in ECO mode the entire trip. I left with 82.4v in the battery and returned with 67.9 with 85.1 total miles ridden. Based on voltage I'm guessing another 10-15 miles could be squeezed out. I'm also 220lbs.
@@TimsElectric I'm going to try one more extreme range test to confirm I can squeeze the range out of it. If I can get 90 miles with a little left I'm going to try the full trail ride from Weaver, AL to Smyrna, GA. That will be about 92 miles. Once back to Smyrna I'll keep riding locally until it shuts off. I'd love to be able to say I broke 100 miles on a single charge on an e-scooter between two states.
You got 41 miles and have approximately 50% left? I don't trust that last 50% to get you another 30 miles... I am getting 31/32 miles on gear 3 dual motor.

I love this thing. You can hit pretty high speeds single motor power level 2/3. Slower acceleration but that isn't always a bad thing. If you really wanna go nuts change it to dual motor 2/3 and hit 50 mph pretty consistantly. and 0-40 is fast as heck especially on 3. 4 and 5 you have no need for unless you are going 50-60mph.
