That was frustrating with the flatty bro hahah def know the feeling. Looking forward to new vids
Awesome video and that was a nice flatty keep up the great work 🤙🏻
awesome session Mick, didn't think it was possible fishing there, used to go around the aquarium a lot with the kids but never seen anyone fished :D.
RIP Cranka Crab
Bugger about the crab. Good couple of fish though. Trying for bream this weekend on the Georges.
Yeah buddy !!! Mick next time if your desperate use your hat as net. It’s worked for me once before .
Bloody hell, never thought about it like that ay! Thats some street smart stuff tommy!!
Got to love the crankas! I would of also been spewing about losing the cranka more than the flatty hahaha good stuff brother
Haha thats fishing ay bro, i lose alot of good stuff unfortunately but i guess its the same as buying bait for a session kinda thing ay
@@flickwithmick i feel you man! I remember losing a daiwa swim bait first cast once 😂 broke my heart
Lol love the intro , says hard to catch fish in Sydney, proceeds to fish darling harbour
Get a net bro...a long one awesome on the bream have to try those crabs👍
Bloody hell!! I'm getting you a net for your van bro! That dusty was a bloody beauty!!
Hahahahaha
I mean im truly shattered that flatty was pushing 60’s the gopro doesnt do it justice SHE WAS BIG
How are you even allowed to fish there whenever I fish there I get told off by the security
Unweighted ecogear aqua in the harbour or anything that looks like a hot chip goes off... definitely get a net mate saves $$$ great vid
Definitely on the money there, i threw them out in that session too on a vanfook weedless hook 👌🏼 they are solid!
good video
Nice mate. Definitely worth dead sticking them for a good 10 secs once they hit the bottom. Been hit heaps of times after I've left it and start to wind back up. No need to jig it, I don't reckon - the claws do all the action for you.
Thanks man! Yeah for sure i need to practice more patience on the bottom i get abit to frustrated! YOURE THE MAN!!
That was suspenseful with the flattie 😁
Off to the tackle shop Mick to buy a net with a long pole CHEERS MATE
Great vid. I had no success with the cranka crabs yet. Always wanted to fish in darling harbour. To scared but. You ever get pinged for it?
Thanks man, rules are confusing... i dont suggest it but i still give it a crack
Very mixed messages
@@flickwithmick
pretty clear
"15 Fishing in Darling Harbour area
A person must not, except as authorised by the Authority, take or attempt to take, or harm, any fish in the Darling Harbour area (other than in Cockle Bay).
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units." and 1 x penalty unit is $110
Ahh mate! Thats happened to me before same time of yr around Sydney marinas. After Bream and hooked this 70+ Flattie and was on 4lb, shook his head near the surface and gone! Hurts thats for sure.
Next person who catches that flattie gets both a trophy fish and a $20 lure haha
Great video mate, makes me wanna give the crabs another crack
Thanks man! Gets frustrating at times trying different stuff but the crabs are definitely a great lure around structures, hopefully ill produce better sessions than this around the corner 🙏🏼
What do you recomend more for soft plastic fishing the td black or hyper
Hey khaled, they are both decent rods, depends what you prefer but usually any rod between the 1-3kg range works well.
Td black and the hyper I can’t really pick between the both
whats the kg on that daiwa infeet rod?
Good stuff Mick. Putting in the hard work pays off. Fuck is a flatty doing there lol
Thanks man! I think the bream will come through much better from now till summer... i guess i can call this abit of training
@@flickwithmick Unfortunately im only the undersized tailor master at the moment. Used my cranka last week for the first time. Im like fuck it, if i lose it, i lose it. Better than it sitting in the tackle box
Lol , tells ppl on UA-cam he's got crabs
Chuck a small lip grip in your bag if you don't have a net: jigglefishing.com.au/collections/fishing-tools/products/fish-lip-grips
Dunno what's worst loosing the flatty or the crab burns ethier way 🤧
@@flickwithmick i bet, look into a iso landing net there abit more pricy but will extend from 1.2m to around 5.4m handy for the wharfs
$24 Flatty
Ive lost my share of Cranka Crabs down at Woronora and captian cook bridge.
#BuyANet
@@flickwithmick 😂😂 i forget the net sometimes don't worry brother xmas just around the corner might need to ask santa for a net
