You are very thoughtful and concise, and after listening to one of your shorter episodes, I am now doing a better job describing food (& have now convinced my co-worker to make orange flavored cinnamon rolls -- with great power comes great responsibility). I always say tasty is the best excuse ... some michelin starred restaurants serve courses that are just not tasty. I can appreciate the effort but in the end it's food. It's got to be tasty. Then we can talk about the plating, the textures, smells, combinations / creativity, execution etc.
I got self conscious cause a TPC episode I'm publishing today is filled with the word "tasty" 😛 but I think that's because it's true!!
What I observed is that specially very young chefs tend to criticize more even if they can't execute better.
Talk is cheap 😉
