what a bonitas song, Iove the part that "I would give my own life" it is really a tiny thing compared to the infinite love of God, great. I am a catholic song writer from Peru
I listened to this song for a while from the perspective of me to God in both the verses and chorus. And I really liked it. Then I heard it.... verses: me to God , chorus: God to me. Wow, that took it to another level and it all clicked. God indeed can love us more than all the saints and angels. God plus creation is not greater than God. In fact it is God's love that makes an angel and angel and a human a saint. 'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son.' 'We love because He first loved us'. Something about the way she sings the chorus, I can hear God doing all he can to say he loves me, and I believe it.
Thank you Alanna. I heard about you on Relevant Radio a couple of days ago. And just this morning, again listened to Petros and for the first time, I'm Sorry. Looking forward to listening/watching the rest of your videos (& thanks for giving the lyrics when asked!). My discovery of you comes at a time when I am much in need of inspiration and encouragement - you are helping with that. Thank you for bringing Heaven closer to Earth (for me and I'm sure, many). May God Bless You Alanna. PS I just sent an email to the Cup of Joy in Green Bay, WI (a Christian Coffee House) asking them to invite you here :)
Ah! Found you through a link on UCatholic #40daysofmercy retreat that I receive. Amazing voice, lyrics, sound! Going to your website and Love Good Music now!
Hermosa canción. Hola! No hablo inglés, pero me encantaría poder tener la letra de ese tema en español, y ver si es posible cantarla en mi parroquia. O en algún momento de Adoración frente al Santísimo Sacramento. Dios te bendiga
Love the quote from von Balthasar, one of my favorite philosophers. Very cool lyric expressiveness. Laudably textured acoustic richness. We have been around since 1976; please, check us back.... Mark LaJOIE! Living Waters
@@alejandralesmes5197 and now... still happily, peacefully not Catholic :) I never wrote music for a catholic audience, anyway. I wrote (and write) music to reach people where they're at, and to hopefully give them a sense that they're loved and they belong - whatever their creed or circumstances.
I miss so much this deep catholic spirit with this gorgeous voice.

No other song I've heard has summed up the spiritual life so fully.

I love watching the faces of musicians who really feel deeply the music they are making. 3:19
BY FAR my favorite Boudreau song....
Wow!
Great song to listen in the car due to the percussion. The sound of the tiny bell is so celestial!

Can you add CC to your videos? I'm learning the language so it's very difficult to understand the lirics.
Is this song available for purchase? I can't seem to find it anywhere
+Jessica Jankovits It will be available for purchase on my upcoming second album, which will be released in July!

Thank you so much :)
How do you purchase this song?
www.alannaboudreaumusic.com/landing/ Her website - it's on the EP "Hesychasm" and her new Full CD "Champion"
What are the last lyrics and what do they mean?
Alana Newman "O Bonitas" is a Latin phrase meaning (roughly) "O Truth, O Goodness, O Beauty".
Sadly Alanna renounced the Catholic Faith in 2019. See her blog entry "Farewell Catholicism".
Happily, peacefully*. Wish you the best.
@@AlannaBoudreau I wish you the best as well.
