Skill simplification would be great to run here if Keelan didn’t need all the cooldown he can get. Focus on singular is better. Since Keelan’s damage is split between fusion and singular, you aren’t getting much from his 1 skill DoT anyway since you’ll be focusing more on his Singular dash and septic wind for damage. Also fun fact, the DoT applied scales off of whatever damage type applied the debuff first. If you 1 skill the enemy first before dashing, it will do much less damage for the remainder of the DoT versus dashing first before using the 1 skill to apply additional erosion stacks. And the 4 skill is a chunk of 1.7k modifier so skill modifier isn’t doing much for that damage anyway.
If you’re on Controller, set your quick turn to L1+R1, it helps a lot. So, L1+O (While still holding L1 press R1) Imo he works best on controller now in some cases

I have like a 9sec cooldown on my dash abilities and even other Ireland can’t keep up with me his damage is beyond fine for mobbing so I focused more on speed and he feels perfect tbh and still decent bossing damage for colossos/dungeons
I am disappointed with Keelan, he has a new gameplay style, but I have already Ultimate Bunny and Ultimate Freyna. I got Ultimate Sharen, I am having more fun with her. P.S.: I liked the video.
@jordancollette3434 check my UA-cam Shorts. It's a simple technique where you melee at the end of your grapple to gain more distance. For more important little tricks, turn notifications on and don't miss the Shorts when they come out 😁👍
You can if you want and if you have a Hunter set with the right stats. I use HP for survival and cause I'm lazy, plus you can manage cooldowns well enough with practice. 4% extra makes little diff.

What I hate about Keelan after building him is that he is a chore to play on controller because when you do his dashes you constantly gotta turn around and go through enemies again which is gets tiring pretty quickly.. I have the same build as you from other UA-camrs but honestly I probably won’t use him much since I play on controller and gets tiring having to constantly turn around every time.. I am pretty sure they added the quick turn option in the setting just now because lots of controller players probably feel the same..

I find that his cooldown is alright as is, but yes, you can use focus in place of skill simp if you want

10:35 I rock 2 Hunter sets for the cooldown and 2 of either Swamp Recon or Venom Essence for an extra 6.2% toxic skill power.

You can go for it if you want to 😁. Components only matter gor survival on his build so just run whatever you want if you can survive

Tested on stream, any other module in place of maximize range, lowers the value of your dash and explosion.

The latest patch added quick turn for controller users - should solve your problem
