Hi Elliot, im wondering if you'd be able to do a video showing your whole barrow e.g. what you carry around on it for your average session. This could include all the bags and what the different bags and pouches contain. Thanks

This rucksack has it's good and bad points, but because of the faults mentioned below, I wouldn't pay full price for a new one... it's simply not worth £90+ (at the time of writing).
The overall width is about 5cm less than specified by Thinking Anglers. I measured the main compartment and it came to about 15 litres volume. The size is fine for me, but only to use alongside a TA cool bag for my bait. For context of my criticisms, I've trekked all over the world and used several backpacks. This one is obviously intended for short fishing sessions and carrying relatively short distances, but it sits far too high on the back - the padded parts of the shoulder straps are quite short, making the sternum strap sit just a few inches under the throat. If it were about 5cm longer in the back and they sorted out the straps it would be close to perfect.
What fits? The Korda Tackle Box (show in some reviews of this rucksack, and which I own) fits nicely in the front pocket and the Korda Compac 125 fits the side pockets with a little room for a small item like sunglasses. Or you can fit both the Compac 110 and 100 in each side. I'm sure other makes of EVA pouches would ft as well. My 38cm Preston hook length box and Thermos flask fit nicely in the inner compartments, with a waterproof jacket, food and drink... with room to spare.

Another good vid from Elliot , With you on this, have two of these one for carping and one for winter perching along with the TA slim quivers keeps you light by scaling down to just the essentials. Just wondering why all your rigs look like there in a tangled mess on top?! Maybe I've missed something anyway good vid

The drawback is it is not fully waterproof, obviously didn't think that one out. 3 bankstick loops each side would be better as most carp boys use 3 rods. And get rid of those stupid flaps from the main compartment, all they do is take up space and restrict what can be put in the pack. Also don't hang anything heavy on the elastic straps, they will stretch out of shape in no time at all. PS; for 70 quid a pop, I expect a pack to have a rigid frame instead of a bit of foam backing.

I got one of these. Its not bad, but could be better. First gripe is that even with the straps lengthened it sits too high on the back, and so the weight distribution feels off and its not balanced comfortably over your lumbar region. Also the chest strap is totally in the wrong place and if you do it up it starts pressing around your neck (again because the whole thing sits too high). Secondly is that it has no mesh pockets on the outside, which are always really useful for drying out wet items or carrying a flask. Other than that its good, but I wish I had bought the Sabre version at half the price. So there you ... THAT is a no bullshit review.
