Is it better to have the carabineers really close to the tree (making a bit more open angle with the sling) or a 45 degree angle would be better?
90-degrees should be the max angle you have at the tree sling. Anything less than that will work great and not overload the gear.
Why do you use 2 carabineers on the dynamic anchor when you could just spiral loop it through one? Does it make it easier to pull? 7:14
