Not possibly, Cassandra's Father may not be revealed yet in Tangled: the Series Season 3 but it's only just a theory and it is indirectly not confirmed. The point is to goes on a Zhan Tiri.
It may be a long shot but here is my theory, her father is Zhan Tiri. Cause I thought I saw Gothel's silhouette when they revealed Zhan tiri and his followers, so I theorized that Zhan Tiri is Cassandra's father.

Right now my going theory is king Edmund. On the ground that she was trying to get close to the moon drop at some point and started a relationship with him

...but really, too much really doesn’t add up for Gothel to be Cass’s mother (and Cass’s repressed memories not being toyed with beyond just her psych...) to the point it breaks down and completely obliterates my suspending of disbelief.
Liiiike...can you even imagine what daily sundrop usage would do to an unborn kid? ‘Cause Gothel had to use it once a day or she visibly ages. Or Gothel not using some sort of contraceptives, as no way that narcissist would be into anything more than a one night stand and kinda planned everything else to obsession. (Although she does treat Cass as a mistake vs a pawn (as in, if she intentionally got pregnant) and she just doesn’t strike me as the type to love anyone but herself. And she kinda abandoned Cass allegedly? So...so much for Cass being intentionally born to be her tool; Cass could’ve easily had the same upbringing in the Tower that Raps got stuck with)
So. We all sure that Cass’s repressed memories aren’t being screwed with? Which...is actually something that’s been documented to happen? She’s clearly being manipulated by that blue ghost that only popped up once they got to the House of Past Tomorrows that also wants Cass to only remember her hurt and anger-it ain’t out to help her at all.

(Although honestly? The moonstone and Cass were made for eachother. And while I’m still catching up, Raps is clearly being manipulated in a similar way by Adira as that blue ghosty is Cass-both clearly have their own but opposing agendas. And if Raps is supposed to “neutralize” the moonstone, then arguably it’s been doing that to her all along (and Gothel could’ve easily lied about her hair and kept trimming that one strand to keep up the charade). Raps has always embodied the Sundrop in personality and even her brief “mundane” appearance, and so has Cass with the moonstone. It’s WHY their relationship, although occationally strained, worked so well. It only ceased to work first with Adira and then with Blue Ghosty. They were close to working out even Raps accidentally mutilating Cass-which Cass was right. The spear would’ve worked, and been more controllable than a possibly unfinished incantation written by the Big Bad when Raps IS the sundrop now-she won’t be able to fully control anything moon-related (let alone without losing herself), but Cass could. Cass already has much more control over the rocks than Raps did with her proxy-but-paralleled connection.)

What if Shorty’s actually That One Wizard Dude who fought the evil magic guy? When he was talking about how he had to seal his consciousness into a monkey, he made it sound like his human body didn’t actually die (but...would eventually become mindless).
Also, for how ancient Wizard Guy is, monkeys...just don’t live that long to overlap. But we don’t really know Shorty’s true age, and he always winds up involved in the main events with an affinity for animals as well.
Shorty also seems less senile and more...well, like a loon. Like his mind is literally elsewhere, yet occasionally he actually says something uncharacteristically profound...much like a certain Monkey As A Monkey.
Which if he is the Wizard Dude *and* Cass’s father...that’d explain why he put his mind inside a monkey as a time-sensitive spell. It’d fit the timeline, anyway...as well as both flirting with eachother in the movie.
Which if Gothel could use the sundrop for immortality, then so could Wizard Dude before he became Shorty&Monkey. (Prolonged use of the sundrop probably has side effects. Or the disciples are just that much older than everyone else.)

More like Gothel actually... then getting pregnant and raising (sorta) the resulting child. And Gothel ages pretty quickly? She needs to constantly recite the sundrop incantation once a day or her true age emerges?
Adding an unborn child into the mix and what sort of effect that degree of magic would do to them just...kinda completely suspends my disbelief even more than trying to imagine Gothel picking someone up from a tavern and keeping the resulting conceived child. (And you mean to tell me the witch didn’t have any sort of contraceptives? Um...)
Deliberately impregnanting herself also becomes a Not Likely considering how quickly she abandoned Cass after Rapunzel’s birth.
The only hitting I liked thinking about with Gothel is when she got hit by Rapunzel with the frying pan in that episode.

Ok, so here’s my theory:
So in a flashback, we see that Gothel is talking to her mirror diary thing, and she talks about all the complements she got that day. I think that she could have easily made some man fall for her with her being beautiful in youth.
So, she was impregnated, and when she told Cass’s father about the pregnancy, he left her. This could also explain why she hates Cass so much. To Gothel, Cass is just a reminder that for once, her youth and beauty had failed her, and she really only kept Cass around as a servant and didn’t think of her as a daughter.
Maybe she felt that her beauty was all she had left, and she was willing to go as far as kidnapping a child to keep it.
As great as it sound, It's impossible for King Edmund to be Cassandra's father because he never left his kingdom and I don't think Gothel would go to far from her flower.
If her father has to be someone from the dark kingdom, I would go for Varian's father, Quirin. After all, consedering Varian is 14 (or 15 now) and Cassandra, around 23, it's totaly possible for Quirin to meet Gothel in Corona. (Fun fact: Someone on tumblr realize Varian's mother design resemble to Gothel first design. So, if this is intentionnal, is this a simple easter egg or a clue to the connection between Quirin and Gothel)
But I agree about how it isn't important (At least, right now), to know Cassandra's biological father is. For what we know, it may be just a one night stand.
Not to mention the fact that I get the feeling Eugene and Cassandra are about the same age, and I doubt that Edmund would have been with another woman so soon after his wife's death. My money is on Hector, Matthews or Zhan Tiri. I think it might be Hector because he and Cassandra look very much alike.

Monster vs Aliens did have a cartoon series, I think it was on Nick but it didn't last long but I agree with you 1000% those movies would make amazing cartoon series. Hopefully after tangled the series is done they will continue the movie to cartoon trend

Go back and review the opening of the movie Tangled. Gothel was already an old woman when she found the Sun Flower centuries ago. The only reason Cassandra can exist at all is because of the magic of the Sun Flower.
Okay first of all I absolutely love the idea of Edmund being Cassandra's father is makes perfect sense!! Love that sibling relationship it would create with Eugene as well. But also may I just say I love how you ended this video with a little ode to the captain of the guard as well as Cassandra as a person and how really that's all that really matters :) LOVE
I still think Cassandra's father is Mr.Matthews/Tromus
not to mention Gothal and Tromus were both followers of Zhan Tiri and both have very similar personalities and motives. so I think Gothal would go for some more like Tromus than Edmund, and Eugene and Cassandra are similar ages and am 100% doubt Edmund would have an affair with anyone
I think, aside from the points you made about her's and Eugene's banter and Edmund and Cass's fighting prowess, another possible clue to King Edmund being Cass's father is their bodies. Both Cass and Edmund have shorter legs and long torsos. Now, granted, this could just be a coincidence in character design, but perhaps it is also a clue.

@@starterking Yes I do think the woman was most likely his nanny/ nurse , but if she placed him in the orphanage, I think she would have called him Horace Fitz Edmund. So I am wondering if she gave him to a man named Herbert who changed his name to Eugene. However did she continue to watch over the young prince as he grew and gave his toys to his father
I would like Cass’s father to be either Hector or Edmund. Hector looks and acts almost exactly like her (minus the glowing yellow eyes) and they both share a connection with animals, and maybe the reason Hector refuses to let anyone in is because he was betrayed by someone he loved and it scarred him. As for Edmund, it would be interesting for Eugene and Cass to be siblings, but what I think solidifies it is that Edmund’s family was around and connected to the Moonstone for generations, and when Cass was born the Moonstone chose her to wield it after forming a bond and trust with the family protecting it. That’s why she was able to not only hold it but control it as well.
Its kinda sad to watch these theory videos almost a year after the show has ended, a lot of the questions these theories ask are not answered. I hope more unanswered questions are answered in the Cassandra and Varian spinoffs that we *will* get someday.

I think it'd be cool if Cassandra was the princess of the dark Kingdom because not only do her and Eugine seem to have a sibling relationship but at the end of the series we know she ends up traveling the world so maybe during her travels she finds out who her Father is and with Eugine becoming captain of the guards in corona and being married to Rapunzel maybe Cassandra will succeed King Edmund as queen of the dark Kingdom finally becoming who she was meant to be

This is interesting to the Moonstone be connected to Atlantis at all because when she first grabs a moonstone and she loses her clothes she has the blue body like kida did when she was taking over buy the heart of Atlantis I wonder if the moonstone could be somehow another piece of Atlantis

Even if we see her bio father I’d like to see it resolve with Cass feeling like the captain of the guards is still her “real” father. It’d be nice to have a moral like “your parents aren’t the people who birthed you but the people who raised you”, I think a lot of adopted kids should hear that.
I personally think the Zhan Tiri theory makes the most sense with the King of the dark kingdom being a close second for one reason, which is something several others have pointed out in the comments below... Why would Gothel keep a pregnancy of a no one (that is someone without power)/why would she keep a pregnancy that didn't have a reason? It seems less likely that she would have had a spur of the moment I want a baby thought than having a child for a reason. In particular, the Zhan Tiri theory where they both agreed to it for the reason of creating someone who could indeed retrieve the moonstone. I think that makes the most amount of sense.

Why would Edmund be with another woman so shortly after the death of his wife? As much as I would love for Cass and Eugene to be brother and sister I find it Impossible that Edmund would go be with another woman after his wife's death, but to me I don't think it matters the Captian is her father he was the one that raised her and took care of her and nurtured her.

I wonder if at least a small part of the reason why Gothel lead the guards to the hut was so someone would find and take care of Cassandra.
There are a few problems with this theory such as king Edmond saying he hadn't spoken to anyone since he banished his people and Zhan Tiri's voice actor is female, and yeah I can't imagine Hector or Qurin being her father either, I'm kind of feeling like they aren't going to touch on who her father is but who knows at this point

Speaking of fathers, I have a theory that Lizardos is Pascal's father. It's strange how Pascal's mother was the only parental figure present in any of Pascal's childhood flashbacks from the episode, "Pascal's Story". So where could his father be? If my theory is correct, then Lizardos would be at Teripai Island taking on his responsibility as king over the Lorbs. In some way, Lizardos probably went away to Teripai Island sometime before Pascal was born.

I think either Shorty or the Good Alchemy guy is her father.
1. Gothel has been using that flower for YEARS and shorty could've met her when she was younger,maybe even before she found the flower.
2. Maybe she and shorty fell in love but he abandoned her after learning she was pregnant(Or before) because he has a drinking addiction,or because he's a ladies man/player.
3. Gothel could've been so heartbroken that she pushed down all emotions and only looked out for herself,viwing that she'll never feel like that ever again. (Kinda like Meg from Hercules)
4.She raised Cassandra all on her own and completely erased Shorty from her life (Kinda like Imelda from Coco) Shorty continued to drink and becamne the loser we know today.
Maybe he began drinking heavily after realizing he threw away his chance with Gothel.
(These are the thoughts I've had ever since I saw Tangled the movie.)
Good Alchemy Guy (I forgot his name so let's call him GAG)
I think that when they were working together she seduced him and they had a short relationship.
She only did this to get closer to his knowledge/power of alchemy and magic.
I think Cass was able to take on the stones power for a few reasons
1. She was close to Rapunzel and the Moonstone knew it had to be reunited
2. If Quiren is her father then she might have a fragment of it in her genes because of the explosion
3. If her father is Zhan Tiri then no need to explain there 😂
4. Mother Gothel sun to the sun drop EVERYDAY. This means that even while she was pregnant with Cass she continued to do that to stay young and healthy. And since she had “consumed” some of its power in a way that made Cass have a sort of extra strength or resistance that helped her in the end.
Ahh yes, you can tell he was the great, the graceful shorty with wisdom beyond our years.

I was the one who coined that theory haha. I posted it on Tumblr weeks ago, way before this video came out.
"Cass is zanturi's daughter." nice nice 😌 OR She is king Edmund's Daughter, but he just took on some of the moonstone's power when he tried to DESTROY IT 😃
Or her fathers blood line could wield it,they just didn't because they wanted to protect people.And the price to getting the power is messing up your mind ,although people think she was manipulated I think there's more to it.

If her father doesnt bring her back to her senses.. I will give up on life since he was the only one that was willing to give her a chance MULTIPLE times to not just wait in the wings and finally be able to do something important, like the science fair and the season finale with leading the fight with Varien...
My personal theory is that Gothel was the third student of Demanitus which then all switched their loyalty to Chantilly. Except - while the other two became wildly loyal to him, Gothel really only loved herself, and took hold of the sundrop first in its plant form and then as Rapunzel. Maybe she heard about things going south in the Dark Kingdom, so she sought out her former partner Matthews/Tormus feigning love, so he would be the biological father. (But I also think that her REAL, but not biological, father is the captain of the guard)

the idea of Zhan Tiri being Cassandra's father reminds me of ashi's story from samurai jack.
This question definitely popped into my head while watching the episode and I figured that Isaac would address it, so I’m really glad that he did. I originally was thinking that it could be Varian’s dad, but now I’m leaning more towards Zan tiri.
I'm not so sure about Shorty. When he sees Gothel in Tangled, he acts as if he doesn't know her. Plus, at that point, Cassandra would've already been born. So I personally don't see him being Cassandra's father.
What about her adoptive father is her real father , when mother gothel abandon her she may know that she is safe with her father (captain of guards), my theory gothel and Cassandra father love each other she tell him about sun drop after queen became sick he tell this about king

I think the reson Casandra could take the moon stone and "use" it when she did was because the moon stone maybe could scence it's "sibling" in Rapunsel and does was more at ease. and the transformation that ocured when Casandra then put the moon stone on was it "panicing" when it lost sight of it's "sibling" drop again. a defence if you will.

I’m still betting that Cas is actually like a part of Gospel, like in a bid to restore her youth, she instead brought forth her inner child , dragging all kindness and loyalty and love out of herself and creating Cas. It’s already know Gospel was one of the apprentices of the big evil sorcerer, so botching a youth spell before or after finding the sundrop is not too far off. Oh and ghost girl is so Gospel, maybe as she actually was as a child, or what remains of her spirit just took on the form most likely to be trusted, and thus manipulate from. If Gospel isn’t trying to tailor Cas to become her new body, I’ll be shocked.

So I may be late to this but being that Mother Gothel knew so much the sun drop what is to say she didn’t know Cassandra was destined to be the holder of the moon stone as Cassandra repeats so much. Then Mother Gothel either would sneak away from Rupunzel looking for Cass or just keeping an eye on her. Gothel too easily cut the ropes of the bridge without looking back and could be why she hid rupunzel and isolated her so she wouldn’t lose the holder of the sun drop as she lost the one of the moon. My second theory also is that she knew one day they had to face each other which is why she never went to get Cass back
I say Cassandra was one of Gothel's attempts to remain young gone wrong since she looks almost identical to her, but it could be just my sick imagination (since they have different nose shapes)

Love the theory! I had a thought about when Cass grabbed the moonstone. Isn't that the same hand that got burnt by Rapunzel when Cass tried to snap her out of the moonstone incantation? Maybe she could hold the moonstone because her hand had come into contact with some of its power through Rapunzel? Also, I think Hector is the most probable father

I don't think gothel could love anyone besides herself. If she were to have a child it might be a tactical reason like she did it for power and that cassandra just happened to come with it so she used cass, for a maid.
It would be cool if you jeans father is also Cassandra's Father which would mean she and Eugene are brother and sister can you imagine that also here's a video you should make about Eugene in the original fairytale of Rapunzel his character is a prince who comes to rescue her from the witch that has her locked up but in the Disney version called Tangled he's not a prince he's a thief he's kind of like an adult version of The Artful Dodger from Oliver Twist which was a nice change they made but it turns out they didn't change anything when we meet your genes father we discover he's a king which makes Eugene a long lost Prince in other words he was still a prince the whole time in other words now it all makes sense talk about shining some light on the subject so I want to hear a video about that.

Being technical though, Shorty can't be Cassandra's father, because she is even older than Rapunzel (Who had just turned 18) when Mother Gothel and Shorty met. Gothel showed no interest in Gothel and they both acted as though they had never seen one another. Case closed.

(Commenting before I watch the video) My personal headcannon is that Gotham went to comfort/seduce a certain recently widowed king and father who lost his kingdom in order to boost her own ego (Check off that “Sleep with a king” on her bucket list) or to try to get to the moonstone. That would add a whole new meaning to Eugene’s “You were like a sister to me” line.

I dont think it could be varians father because at some point in the series we saw a picture of varians dad and mom holding varian and his mom didnt look a thing like gothel but

If they are gonna reveal who her father is I think they want it to make as big an impact as they did with her mother. To me the only logical choice that gives the most impact and would fit in the invetable final battle that is coming would be Zhin Tery.
Gothel was too in love with herself to have a meaningful relationship with anyone. And was too old to have a child by normal means considering how fast the flower magic wore off.
So the only logical conculuse I can come up with and given that creepy girl talking to Cass I would say Cass's father would have to be a demon.
Since only a demon could love another and Gothel fits my defition of what is a demon. Someone who cannot love and doesn't have any qualities of humanity.
And again if the moonstone kills everyone else the only one who stand a chance was of demon blood. And Zhin tery wanted the Moonstone and the Sundrop.
With these facts I'd say it's logical that it's Zhin Tery.
So how exactly does cassandra fit into ANY of this
If the ghost girl is Zhan Tiri in disguise, it would make the most sense for him to be Cassandra's father, as it would explain why he has a vested interest in her.

@@stevenhiggins3055 But why use her to get it? Why not use Eugene? Cadsandra is, presumably, a noblewoman's daughter, but Eugene is the crown prince of the Dark Kingdom. Wouldn't he be the better choice? The only real difference between him, Cass and Varian is that he was born before the moonstone's arrival. But he was still there to be influenced by its effects, just like his and Varian's fathers and Cass' mother. Why the special interest in Cassandra specifically?
@@AtarahDerek Because Cas was easier to turn against Rapunzel due to her resentment. He wants both, so he needed someone close enough to Rapunzel to be within range to snatch the moonstone but also someone he could make fight her to take the sundrop.
And, just to clarify, none of them were born before the moonstone arrived. Just as the sundrop existed before Corona, so too did the moonstone exist before the Dark Kingdom. Both these celestial objects feel to earth centuries ago. Zhan Tiri tried to get them back then, but was banished by Damanitus. Now he's been freed by Ms. Sugarbee and is trying again.

I've never heard the story about Shorty being Cassandra's father. That would be kind of odd if he was. As for the others I don't think that Quirin nor Edmund would've ever really been with Mother Gothel at all since they were both very kind men and she was just pure evil. Also She was you know already practically dead by the time she had her and then abandoned her. That would be kinda sickening for Disney if they made someone a whole lot younger being a couple to someone who was old as dirt. But then again there's the theory of Shorty and Mother Gothel. I don't know. I mean maybe they could have before Gothel started to die. But I really don't know. I don't think any of those men would fall for Mother Gothel considering how horrible she was. Quirin would NEVER EVER abandon Varian or do any of the crap that Gothel did to her (two daughters.) Edmund only gave up Eugene to keep him safe from getting hurt or even killed by the moonstone like his mother did when he tried to destroy it. Again he would NEVER pull any crap on him like Gothel did. I would probably think it would either be Hector or Zhan Tiri himself as Cassandra's father. But that would suck because then that would mean that Cass was supposed to be truly evil all along. But if Hector were her biological father, then she'd be half and half. Half good and half bad. I'm still not really sure if Hector was supposed to be evil or not. I don't really know what to believe at this point. I never wanted to believe that Mother Gothel was her biological mother in the first place. But unfortunately now I have to. I was just very upset about that when we found out that that theory came true. All we can do now is just keep watching the show to find out more about Cassandra's background.
If Cassandra is the daughter of king Edmond, That means:
Rapunzel is a lost princess
Eugene is a lost prince
Cassandra is a lost princess.
Meaning:
The lost princess not only coincidentally became best friends with a lost princess but also married a lost prince.
TOO big a coincidence.
Than that would've made Cass a half-sister to Eugene. Imagine his reaction if it was Edmund.
That means Mother Gotgel is also to me of the pupils of Demanitus who betrayed Demanitus.
