- The US Secretary of State said Washington is ready to discuss with Kyiv the possibility of using US weapons to attack targets deep inside Russia. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed it is up to Ukraine to decide whether to carry out strikes deep into Russian territory. Meanwhile, There is a vigorous debate inside the White House over relaxing the ban to allow the Ukrainians to use US weapons to hit targets inside Russia. The Politico cited a letter by lawmakers from both parties in the House of Representatives demanding Biden to allow Kyiv to strike Russia using US weapons. Russia’s Ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov warned Washington against authorising the use of long-range weapons against Russian territory. Antonov alleged Kyiv seeks “to provoke” the US and other NATO* countries, into “rash actions and achieve a head-on collision” between Russia and NATO.

Russia had to retreat from Kharkiv and Kherson because Ukraine was able to strike at strategic targets that were resupplying Russian troops inside Ukraine.
With the restrictions Russia moved the supplies back into Russia at the border where Ukraine is restricted by Biden and his lackies from striking.

It took russia over 60 years to accumulate all those tanks, rockets, missiles, artillery shells, trucks, planes helicopters, jet fighters, bombers, ships and submarines....and only 2 years to lose over half of it. I think Ukraine needs to be focused on battlefield targets. Using humars to strike industrial factorys does nothing to Russias military capabilities. Nor will it stop this offensive.
They are striking airfields to stop them from assisting their ground troops. In Kharkiv those air assists are coming from within Russia and the West has restricted Ukraine from Striking Russian assets within Russia so in Kharkiv the Russians have the upper hand. Putin attacked Ukraine and it was important for him that the West did not interfere with him in this. In recent years, Putin has received a lot of support from the West, especially from Merkel and Trump, and this despite Russian aggression in recent years in Moldova, Georgia, Crimea, Donbass, Aleppo and the "Novichok" poisoning.
