Police are not respected for their work and it seems magistrates, the front line of judiciary, don't give police the support needed for them, police, to feel rewarded for their efforts.

We have around 35,000 police to monitor the residents and visitors of NSW. But there are only around 6,000 customs officers trying to protect our boarders. Maybe we should employ another 6 thousand customs officers so we can inspect more people boats planes packages and shipping containers as opposed to eroding the rights of the law abiding citizens.
35,000 police in NSW? There's lucky to be 17,000 NSWPF across the entire State...
