Geoff Rivers wrong. James 5:16 says "therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective." Did you read that part of the Bible? Also, we don't "worship" Mary, we hold her in high esteem because she is the blessed vessel God chose to carry Jesus into the world.

You said that Jesus does not allow priests to forgive sins. well he certainly allowed his apostles to forgive sins, and they represented the priesthood then in the priesthood that would follow. totally biblically supported. In John 20:19-23. "On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, ‘Peace be with you.’ When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord. Jesus said to them again, ‘Peace be with you. We notice our Blessed Lord did NOT say, "I am the Alpha THROUGH AND UNTIL the Omega.". He said that He is the Alpha AND the Omega. HE IS BOTH!! Our Blessed Lord doesn't have to explain "the beginning of _______(anything)". HE CREATED THE VERY IDEA of "beginning".
