A Wonderful Walk Mrs SW.... I do like to see a nice Cathedral..... I did visit the Cathedral in Prague, where I was told that to put the roof on, they filled it with sand so they had a stable platform to work on...... when finished they just opened the doors and shovelled it out!!!! which when you think about it was an astounding achievement.... No JCB`s back then...lol...... They were amazing Engineers.... At Least they didn`t have to deal with the Crazy "Health and Safety" nutters....... Love ya SW...... :-)) xxxx

Wow- that’s a technique I’ve never heard of! I do always wonder how they did build huge and tall buildings back in the days- even without very much regard to worker safety…

@@StockholmWalks If I had not been told by an Official Guide then I might not have believed it.... They were very cleaver People back then....With a LOT of cheap workers.... :-))) xxx

What a wonderful outing you all had, it’s such an amazing city to explore, and you only scratched the surface. I’m sure you’ve filmed Gustav Vasa before, haven’t you?? The tombs look so familiar. Gotta love how relaxed Johan III looks! 👍🙏💛🐈🐈💙🙏👋

Yeah, I’ve filmed almost the same walk a few years ago! Yeah, Johan must have wanted to be the playboy forever after!

Impressive cathedral and more so the captions! But don't know, a cat without a tail is like a pirate with both eyes, kinda weird😉

All the books about Pelle Notail features Uppsala, other cats being mean about the tail, and Pelle staying nice and still ending up a winner. Very moralistic but still quite cute.

Fantastic video! Which date were you here? I immigrated to Uppsala over four years ago now and love walking around the centrum and along the river soaking in the Scandinavian culture. I always say hello to the wax lady in the domkyrka, upon my first visit there I nearly apologised to her for nearly bumping into her not realising it's a statue! Haha.
