How to Remove Password or Code From Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Hard Reset

This a short video on how to completely reset your samsung galaxy note 3.
The button sequence is holding the power button, volume up and middle button. Continue to hold all three until you fee a vibration. Remove the hold from the power button but continue to hold the volume up and middle button until you are presented with the android recovery menu. Continue to follow the video for further steps.

Tried it on generic or bootleg galaxy note. Its an android model N900, but it did not work. Know the password, but when I enter it, those numbers do not appear for that split second while you're entering them. Any number I press for the password, it shows as the number zero (0). Frustrated, & not sure what to do?
