I loved the drive through. I lived in Abilene for many decades and I saw my old stomping grounds from Cooper High School, the Mall of Abilene, my bank, and you were close to streets I used to live on. This was wonderful to see and now I miss my home town. Thank you so much!!
Yay, if you love getting outdoors come to Abilene. Since I came in 2018, it's peaceful and has its own lifestyle. It's a bit slow compared to its neighboring cities but it's getting there. Hope your trip was cool.
Beautiful town. I loved the malls you took us too. I am from New York City we do not have Malls or dollars tree. So nice to see all the stores names. I did not see a Mexican restaurant their. I love Mexican food.
It doesn’t get much uglier than Abilene, TX. Back in the old days, if you were in the Air Force and were sent to Dyess base, outside of town, it was like a death sentence. It’s a notorious crap hole.
Abilene is 3.5 hours away from any place of significance. The taxes keep going up, bc people on the southside keep voting yes on bond issues. Gentrification is occurring and the extremely poor areas near downtown and on the north side are prone to meth-addicted pilferers. Some people in Abilene behave as if you're nobody unless you either went to Hardin-Simmons or work for Hendrick Health, the only game in town. Go somewhere else with a better selection of job opportunities and grow your career.

5 years ago I lived there)Good people,very friendly.
Good to hear! I’m glad you enjoyed Abilene!
Looks like a nice quiet town. For a town of about 125,000, it's just that...quiet.
I noticed you didn't drive around Northside. Only downtown and the Southside.

Any areas of abilene we should not move to me and my family have been looking here
When was this video recorded?
Wow. No sign of graffiti or littering. As for the downtown area, considering there is very little sign of human activity, is this on a Sunday?
Looks like a good town to ride a bicycle around. Doesn't appear to be much traffic.
More traffic here in los fresnos tx might be moving there or denton soon.
