Afronerd_92 Um...he is a "rock star". With multiple albums. It's where his roots are. One of the things I love about him is he doesn't fit a mold. He does both Broadway and Rock.

I think I might actually like this version than the one in 'RENT.' Adam, your vocals are even better here. And Larry, fantastic job with the piano. This is beautiful. Wish there was a studio version.

I know what you mean. My friend gave me the DVD and up until this song in the movie, I wasn't paying attention to the movie at all and then his voice came on and I was completely mesmerized by his voice.

Since this was a year ago I don't know if you found out already but it wasn't a wig. It was his real hair. You can find pictures of him during that time not in the movie with hair the same length.

It's cool to see the original singer who we all know for the song play around with it...but I agree that I enjoyed his pitch and timing more in the movie. It was more powerful, I literally had shivers crawling up my back and tears in my eyes when he first said, "Time flies....time dies!"
