I don't get it, on the top 3 both teams did foul. 1. She blocked with the leg then touched 3 times (4 total) 2. Same woman touched the ball twice. Can someone explain?
It it was a soft touch and one of the hits was two hits but one motion. Soft touch is a rule where if you hit the ball while it's on the way up the same person is allowed to hit it again
@@ChazSpiker13 I'm pretty sure that the girl from england that touched twice, didn't touch with one motion. She moved her whole body to get the second hit.
1. When you look closer, you can see that it was pocket (ball changed direction on the net as a result of contact near the rim) instead of leg touch, so 3 touches in total 2. As mentioned before, soft touch rule applies here
It seems the player moved the hand towards the ball for the first hit, and even if it didn't hit the hand, it hit a led or arm that was moved that way, I thought it only applied to core of body when it was unintentional
what are the rules on this, why dont they ever hit the ball to the other team on the second hit and why cant they soft hit the ball? Maybe you can do both and i just didnt see it in this video lol
So idk if you ever got an answer on this…but you can do both. Soft hits are fine but spiking on 2 is typically discouraged. It still happens sometimes though.
If it’s going upwards and you touch it with something other than your hand, you can hit it again. If the ball is going downwards you can’t touch it twice
There was a soft hit in one of the women's matches. And yes you can send it back to net/opponents on your second or even first hit but it's better if you do it served as best as possible and that is usually the third hit
0:23 She had enough and said "Imma play dead"
Where is the foot serve of the final ?
Do you have a link?
Lets go Buddy and Clark!!!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can someone explain how 0:56 is not a double touch? The ball has a downward trajectory and the player hits it with one hand then the other hand.
other guy hit it with the foot, it just seems like double touch
Looks like a clear double touch. I just think nobody called it in the heat of the play
It was with the closer guys foot that was why he jumped
Que esporte incrível...
AWESOME!!!
Is 2:22 not a double touch?
There was a rule change about it. You're allowed to double touch if the ball is moving at an upward trajectory after coming off the net.
@@2number9s87 Really? Do you mind telling me the rule # or sending me somewhere I can read about it?
@@TheOvieShow it's 5.3.6 if you haven't found it already
I think the ball is still rising, so the soft touch might be good

That’s crazy

Yeah so I watched it again and @Janek Dudzik is right it was a pocket which then they got 3 touches
I was lead here by Mark Cuban of all people.
#1 he set the ball with 2 hands and I read that wasn't allowed?
I think he puts both hands up but only sets with the right hand. You're right that it's not allowed to touch the ball with both hands at once
Im confused by double contact in number 3 … whatt!?!?

that softtouch on the 7th one is not legal
wasn't a soft touch, it was just a foot up in mid air
There was the same comment on instagram. Does my play look like soft touch or what? 😅
Maybe Hes talking about the 3rd? the Ladies match
@@yirqanderson8995 the trajectory was still upwards so i think it is still legal
