Luke is like that uncle who is really cool and only shows up on the holidays, but no one knows what he does.

Luke's wife's parents live in my small town, so every once in a while, I'll see him in town eating with the family or walking around. It's nice to have a huge celebrity like that come here a few times every year haha.

I am not a Taylor Swift groupie. I am 3 times her age and think she is a good singer but not fantastic as her very large fan base does. I find the comments about her to be mostly from those who I think are a lot jealous of her success. She has become an international star and is worth well over $250,000,000. She is considered one of the most powerful persons in the music industry. When she started (at age 15 or so) I thought she was OK but mostly appealed to teeniebopper females. She wrote and still writes all her own songs. She has become mainstream not because she changed her style but because the world grew to like and appreciate her music. I myself have found even her early songs have grown on me and I enjoy them more than I ever thought I would. AS FAR AS HER BUTT sticking out etc. keep in mind that this video is shot not from the front but from behind. AS FAR AS HER having no butt, I far prefer her butt to Nicki Minage or Kim Kardashian. To each or us we all have different taste.

CountryMusicMann She is growing up and growing musically. Yes she moved to New York City and out of Nashville. She is spreading her wings and going into new genre's musically. I hope she does not abandon country music altogether and truly believe she will not, but she has no reason not to want to open up her horizons. If you look at current Country Music and 1960's rock and roll it is now very similar. Current rap and rock artist are appearing on Country awards shows and co-mingling their music with Current country music. Country music stations are now labeling themselves as "CLASSIC COUNTRY" and "NEW COUNTRY" What my father called country was Roy Rogers and Gene Autry. Country music has changed, grown, expanded its horizons and appeal. Is this all good or all bad?. I love Ashley Monroe, Casey Musgrave, and tons of other country artists, but I also like Shania Twain and those who brought country into a new era. Taylor Swift is a product of this transition and is just trying new things. I think and hope that she will blend it all together and/or do both. Who says that artists can only perform in one genre. The record labels used to force this onto the artists now you as a fan are attempting to do the same.

I grew up when country music was called Western Music - it morphed into Country Western, Then into Country, and now into New Country. Western was Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, and that ilk. Blue Grass and Hank Williams helped it morph.to country western. It has been changing ever since. Does tradition mean to stay with accustic guitars, banjos, and fiddles only? With male singers only? With cowboy boots, hats, and vests only? With trucks, tractors, horses, trains, broken hearted women as the subjects only? Listen to some of the 1960's rock and roll and country music of the last 15 years thru today. It is very very similar in many ways. Is this good or bad? Country music was at one time popular with only about 10% of the population. Today it challenges all genre's as the most popular. There are still many great old time country singers and songs but it has broadened into a much more inclusive music. You can now pick from a large variety of singers, styles, subject matter and fall in love with the music of your choice.
Ed noyb You say there's a large variety of styles, but everything on the radio sounds the same. Everyone puts way too much effort into their accents, and I never hear a steel guitar intro today. All I hear are electric guitars and bass. I'm not saying it's all garbage, as there are actually a couple songs I enjoy, but it's a far cry from Alan Jackson, George Strait, Brooks and Dunn, and Garth Brooks.
