- Godwin learns about Si's way of doing colonoscopies, and this makes him VERY uncomfortable. Martin spirals into a full-blown panic when he severs his internet cables in an unfortunate lawn-mowing incident. Si boasts about "robo-killing" unknown callers to his home phone, and that has the boys wondering how many great things Si missed out on because he hung up too fast. Godwin forgot the essentials for his last event. Si asks everyone what God looks like to them and reveals his "Star Trek" take. Martin and John-David talk about their favorite food to eat cold. And Martin and John-David give advice to a father who isn't taking care of essential responsibilities around the house.

Your talking about cable tv and landlines out of the house in our area we have cable internet and cell phone all together on one box you can connect all 3 on the box you don’t have to have the landline hooked up to the wall that’s why I said ours is all in one box

I took internet and cable and electronics away from my kids i realized its part of whats wrong with society. Has made a world of a difference in my kids lives.
A friend of mines husband got a colonoscopy and had no symptoms but came back with cancer. He is 54. Because they caught it early he’s going to be fine! PTL! So Godwin…you don’t always have symptoms.
There is a test that you can have done to check for possible palops in intestines. By checking for blood in your bowl movement.

Uncle Si, I just watched an episode of NCIS and see Tony answer the phone at a crime scene and he told the caller he was at a crime scene and he would call them back tomorrow at their home from the hours of 6 AM and 8AM and I thought that is perfect for telemarketers.
@Justin I also see just a really bright light as well. I don't see a face or figure just a large glob of light and warmth.
What you guys need to do is going to Walmart and get one of those antennas and hook it in back of your TV Haskins funeral so you don't have to worry about paying cable anymore

OK Si's question among the various answers given as to what do you see when you see God. I take it back to scripture myself. Jesus said To Peter when Peter asked him to show them the father in John 14:9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? So I do believe that God is most definitely similar to us in form but Perfect so I like John David's interpretation!

You misunderstand what Jesus was saying. Jesus fully represented the Father, everything Jesus said and all the miracles he did were done by the Father who was working through him.
In this way Philip had seen the Father because Jesus represented him in every way but he was a man and not God.
There is only one God, the Father, Jesus was fully man, not fully God. He was the second Adam, a man as he had to be in order to pay the price for the sins of mankind.
In Deuteronomy 18:15-19 God told Moses that he would raise up a Prophet and put his words in that mans mouth. Jesus was that man.
When God said "let us make man in our image" he wasn't talking to Jesus, he was talking to his heavenly host, the angels as can be seen in Job 38:4-7
God is not a Trinity, when Jesus prayed to his God and Father on the night before his crucifixion he said "And this is life eternal, that they might know YOU, the ONLY TRUE GOD, AND JESUS CHRIST whom YOU have sent!" John 17:3
@Reformation Catapults NO, I didn't misunderstand you have. Again he said I and my Father are one, he who has seen me HAS SEEN the FATHER. HE MEANT EXACTLY what he said. Christ said " I speak plainly, why do you not understand my words?" You are trying to reinterpret his plain speech.
@@heavenbound358 When Jesus said the verse you quoted he meant that he was of the same mind as his Father, one in purpose not person.
Look at the verse before this, "MY FATHER, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my FATHER'S hand."
If Jesus was saying that the FATHER gave them to him then he obviously can't be that same entity.
When an ambassador is given authority to speak on behalf of a King and the person being spoken to isn't happy and demands to see the king, the ambassador can rightly say, "if you've seen me, you've seen the king"
If you take every word in the Bible literally and not in context you will never fully understand it.

At the 52-minute Mark I am so surprised that you guys that you're saying that if he doesn't step up that she may leave and then in the recent podcast you're talkin about how this person has to fight for their marriage because they were married under God and now you guys are not bringing God into this at all saying she may leave you and find a guy that will help with the baby in the dishes in the chores so which is it guys? When you guys talk Christ you give solid advice and when you talk of your own understanding you totally contradict yourselves. Nobody knows what God looks like and really nobody knows what Jesus looks like in our day 2023 however people made up the images of God in white beards in those paintings with God with the white beard and Jesus and how he looks you know he was Jewish so he wasn’t “white “peoples paintings pictures of Jesus made him white with blue eyes blinde hair but he’s Jewish so hedhave tan skin brown eyes and hair the Bible says he’s a fairest of 10,000 I believe so he was gonna be like a lighter skin but he would still be tanned but lighter colour but that’s all we really know like none of us can say what Jesus looks like and as far as God go I think Moses on the mountain seen his back or feet and even just seeing that much turned Moses into glowing radiance face from Gods glory andwhen gecome diwn from the mountain Moses face glowed he scared people when he came back down the mountain because God‘s glory and because he seen God it was close to God his face shine Moses face Shone and he had to cover his face because it was scaring the people so as far as God goes we’re made in the image of God so I’m assuming that would mean God looks like or we look like God in his image so he would look like a human I guess but God and Jesus didn’t want us to know really what they look like because people in human nature would make pictures or like statues which would become idols because people would actually start bowing down to the pictures on the wall or the images statues andcarvings and it would end up becoming where people would be bowing down worshipping them which would make it an idol because it would be just a picture or a carving or a statue our human nature would be to go now down and worship that so that’s why God is a jealous God it says it in the Bible and that’s why he doesn’t want us to know what they look like so when you pray to God (I do anyway and Jesus )or I pray to God and I pray ask to God in “Jesus name “ I pray This way anyways and I try to make it like before I found out about all of us are used to always having this “image “ an image of Jesus in my mind before the picture in my head of Jesus like the ones painting you see and it took me a while to stop doing that but nowdays when I pray I have to try hard “not to think about those pictures and painting of God and Jesus” and make it just blank ....like you pray but I pray as if he’s all around he’s everywhere because he is he’s omnipresent so ....but you can’t put it in your head of when you’re praying to be picturing those paintings you’re not supposed to think about what God of Jesus actually looks like because we don’t know and he doesn’t want us to think that.
Right "belief" and "faith"... I was taught "We're created in God's 'image and likeness'".... So????? Men and Women?? I call the results of God's "improvisation" and since we DO say "Father, God Creator" I also heard the expression "Mystery of Faith" which made some sense.

Normally I like listening to you guys. But in this episode, you just made absolutely no sense. When you started going in on, the guy whos wife said he doesn't help change diapers or clothes. I have a baby mother that would say the same about me. She will sit and say that I don't help do certain things but every time I try to do something She jumps in front of me and does it because I'm not doing it up to her standards. Martin you try to sound like your Jesus when it comes to your kids and make no mistakes I can guarantee there's plenty you do wrong or lack of in your wife's eyes. You all should have got more on the story before ripping into that man that way
