Thank you so much for this. Now I have an idea. At first I’m struggling what to do and then I watched this and it really helps me a lot. I need a comedy monologue but I need to do it in 3 minutes and the most difficult part is I need to do it with Italian language. I’m not speak very well Italian but I need to do it. I don't know where to find a monologue for my first audition ever. Can someone guide me please?
I love this! Thank you for sharing. Question: is it okay to make eye contact with an auditor in an audition and deliver the monologue to them? I've always been taught that that is categorically forbidden -- ie you MUST deliver your monologue to the blank wall.
I have heard from many casting directors that it makes the uncomfortable because they can’t watch what you are doing because by making eye contact with them you are making them your scene partner. Hope that helps! ☺️
