Sorry to hear about the arm, but if you cant raise your arm it might be a good day for variety stream games that have controller support. Then you can keep your hands in your lap instead of up on the desk :)
Had similar issues after starting lifting a few years ago. Frozen shoulder, sitting at a desk all day with your arm out on a mouse is most likely the real problem. Got some meds, saw a chiropractor and started doing daily stretches and warm ipst

mr editor. tell gorgc to get his arm in a sling for the first few days after a bad strain like that every time he moves around the weight of his arm is yanking on the damaged muscle. eventually you got to let the arm move but not for the first 3-4 days probably depending how bad it is
Gorgc, sorry to hear about your shoulder: I tore my labrum in my shoulder when I was 13; I needed surgery (a mistake!) and I was out for close to a year with no physical activity. However, I was only in a cast for a month. Now, I was kinda stupid, but I was back to play dota a few days after the injury. One option you can seek out is a skilled doctor of osteopathy (not a quack, but a well trained one). They can be hard to find in the United States at least, but I have seen multiple rotator cuff and labrum tear injuries fixed without surgery with DO help. A few things you can do in the meantime: drink a TON of water: the shoulder really depends on water for lubrication, all of my shoulder injuries happened when I was not drinking enough water (ex competitive gymnast/bodybuilder). Look up exercises to improve mobility in your shoulder, but take them easy. If you want more advice lmk tho I don’t really come onto youtube much i will try to look for a reply..

It’s super easy to get hurt lifting weights. I highly recommend the climbing gym fwiw. Cheers brother and happy healing
