I'm getting married next year and the quote for flowers knocks me over 😣😣 so I'm making these for my bouquet in stead I think it's saved us about £200, thank you xx
I'm a lotta late to the party, but long handled craft tweezers are perfect for holding the fabric while using the candle. I use to make these all the time when scrapbooking. Fun & easy to do! Cutting circles work just as well
These are by far my most preferred flowers because of the shading/blending effect of the mixed colours created by two fabrics. Beautifull work. Iv'e also seen shaded organza so I thing pre-shaded ribbon might be very effective. Every time I watch you I cringe at how you cut out. Even when precision is unnecessary It's still easier if you have the fabric flat and scissors with a flat lower blade (dressmaking).
They are just so beautiful. I learnd as a child to make silkpaper roses, but they never comes alive like the once i fabrick. You are so talented. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🌸💞🌸
What a great achievement 5 years and now look at where you are. I've been working so hard on my channel and trying so many things. Spent so much on mics and lights and nothing seems to do the trick. I would be so interested to read or watch about your equipment you use and your set up, how you went from this to what you are now and how you film your videos, and just your youtube journey as a whole. It is fascinating and gives me hope. I'd absolutely love to hear back from you ☺ many thanks!
I really liked the video but the back ground music was so loud it was really hard to hear you I much rather hear you than the back ground music you do such beautiful work thanks for the info
I used this tutorial to make my own wedding flowers for a bouquet. I used scraps of fabric that my mom had (she sewed my dress) so I basically had a free bouquet! Just had to pay for a few extra bits of foliage.
Thank you so much. I'm making a new cosplay and have been looking for a way to do this exact same type of flowers!!! It's crazy how a 9 years old video was the one to give me the answer I needed, you even made them the exact same color I'll need to do them!!! :")
It is very pretty, and pretty simple to do with some practice..which I need. I would like to ask why there is music in the background? I had a hard time hearing you or it seemed like you were trying to speak above it. Maybe it is my iPad? Anyone else have a bit of a time hearing her voice?
If I wanted to put them in a wedding bouquet could I put wire in at the beginning of making the rose? I love these. I want incorporate in my future daughter in law's wedding bouquet.
Could you please turn the music down a bit please especially when you are speaking? I've got a slight hearing impediment and I am having a real problem hearing you over the music. Thanks 😊
Wow, that's pretty. You're talented. I wonder how much time that would take to do the whole process. If a person would want to sell the product it would probably cost a lot because of all the time that goes into making them.
Your video inspired me to make my own bouquet and I found one that I fell in love with but its way too expensive. Can I email you the picture of the bouquet? I'm unsure what kind of flower this is and how to make it.
Thank you for sharing! I am going to make the Peony flower; however, I am not quite clear by what you mean by "gather the petals". Hope you could clarify it for me please. Thank you!
Hi I love your tutorial!!! I’ve been practicing quite and bit and I can’t seem to get the shape right. If I slightly go down with each petal it ends up looking weird. I wondered are you tacking the fabric on the very bottom throughout the whole flower or do you kind of go out slightly as you add more petals? I can’t tell on the video. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for taking the time to post this!
To give a nice dimensional brooch cut out circles of denim in different sizes and circles cream lace. Fold each circle in half then half again giving you triangles. Cut a small circle denim and add 4 or 5 lace triangles using a glue gun. Next layer add denim circles in the spaces. Repeat lace and denim as many layers as you want to give the dimension you want - I like 3 layers of lace and 2 of denim. Finish off with seed beads, a pearl or ornate button in the middle. See of glue a brooch pin to the back and enjoy.
Hello Miss DIY, Question please, could I use a electric heat gun instead of an open flame ? My father use to call me an accident looking for a place to happen. Wouldn’t still work the same way. I love the Peonies so beautiful. Thank you so very much for sharing.
Thank you very nice. Could do without the background music. It makes me wonder if there's a logical reason why so many youtube tutorials have that distraction?, soooooo annoying :(
I loved this video!!! The finished look of the flowers are beautiful!! Would you please tell me where you purchased the fabric for the flowers and what colors you used? I've purchased several colors but I think they're too dark and I also don't like the shine on my fabric.

I'm in love with this DIY!!
I used this tutorial to make my own wedding flowers for a bouquet. I used scraps of fabric that my mom had (she sewed my dress) so I basically had a free bouquet! Just had to pay for a few extra bits of foliage.
That is a lot of stitching. Beautiful results.
These are gorgeous !!!! I love them .
Absolutely gorgeous!!! Thanks so much for sharing!
Absolutely Gorgeous! I hope I can do them justice. Thank you! 🥰

VCcoffee68 Thank you! I now have a microphone, so my newer videos have a better sound quality. I may redo this one eventually.

Please add English subtitle, cause we are not from English speaking country, so can't understand your pronunciation without subtitle.
So beautiful!
Love them, especially after I spent Crazy $$$ on 12 peonies. Thank you so much for the share.
Thanks for sharing, very nice! - I use a soldering iron to melt edges of fabric...no naked flames or melted wax or burnt fingers to contend with. 😊
If I wanted to put them in a wedding bouquet could I put wire in at the beginning of making the rose? I love these. I want incorporate in my future daughter in law's wedding bouquet.
In this video, I make the flowers with stems ua-cam.com/video/8maEGft1qj0/v-deo.html

Hi! Unfortunately I can't edit this video now, but I made a new video here with better sound: ua-cam.com/video/8maEGft1qj0/v-deo.html

Beautiful! I had a hard time hearing you though with the music.

I can’t find the link for the petal pattern
Love your ideas x
Those are very pretty. Thanks for sharing.
I will really like to see you make the bouquet. I've cut out the petals and will begin sewing them but now I'm nervous please reply.
Do you think I could do this bigger like the size of a head or larger? Will the fabric still hold the same?
Absolutely gorgeous! I love your channel, your home is so beautiful.
Can this be washed? I wanted to add flowers to a dress. What do you recommend?
Your video inspired me to make my own bouquet and I found one that I fell in love with but its way too expensive. Can I email you the picture of the bouquet? I'm unsure what kind of flower this is and how to make it.
Wonderful video! What can I do when my petals get dark near the flame?
I would hold it further away from the flame.
Thank you for sharing! I am going to make the Peony flower; however, I am not quite clear by what you mean by "gather the petals". Hope you could clarify it for me please. Thank you!
Fantastic job! Can you do the same with cotton fabric?
No, cotton wouldn't melt, it burns so it wouldn't have the same curling effect.
Iv'e found out the term to use for shaded colours on ribbon is varigated. Thank's so much. I'm on the hunt now.
thank you! I throughly enjoyed your educational video!!
Fabulously gorgeous!❤️😍❤️
Lovely .....fabulous Roses...... Really looking beautiful after made....fabric looking soft...so flowers looks also soft and real....Thanx🌹🌹
Is this heavy? because I was thinking of making it as a hair accessory for my toddler, I think its is very cute
Very pretty, thank you for sharing.
I am not sure what you mean by gather more for the peonies. Could you explain this more. I really want to do this possibly for my wedding.
Which cloth are you using?

hmmm... I suppose I go out ever so slightly at the bottom for each layer, but not much.
Hi!
I loved your diy on vintage fabric flowers.its sooo pretty.can I make it out of Georgette material too?
so beautiful
Love! I can't get mine to look like peonies...could you post how?
can this be done with denim? I am searching for a rose to add onto a bag. Just found your channel. Love it!

I am tickled pink (no pun intended) to find you :) My fingers don't work as they used to but I can do this. Thank you, thank you, thank you ❤
How many meters of fabric would I need to get to make 100 peonies/roses ?
Lovely
Thank you so much Christina for helping me. I'll give it another whirl over the weekend... Have to make a fresh batch of petals! 😆
Look just like a real cabbage rose thank you

Hello Miss DIY,
Question please, could I use a electric heat gun instead of an open flame ? My
father use to call me an accident looking for a place to happen. Wouldn’t still work
the same way. I love the Peonies so beautiful. Thank you so very much for sharing.
Yes you can. I literally just did exactly this with peau de soir and its nicely singed and curled.
Thank you very nice. Could do without the background music. It makes me wonder if there's a logical reason why so many youtube tutorials have that distraction?, soooooo annoying :(
Gorgeous!! TFS!!
Thank you!
also does this template create one flower?
Did you make a video for making the bouquet? I can't find it.
Beautiful😍
amazing, great job
What's organza? Which fabric it is made of? Normally how's their shape?
You are so awesome!! love these roses!!!
Very nice tips.. First time here and already loving the channel! big hugs :)
I loved this video!!! The finished look of the flowers are beautiful!! Would you please tell me where you purchased the fabric for the flowers and what colors you used? I've purchased several colors but I think they're too dark and I also don't like the shine on my fabric.
I found mine at my local fabric store years ago, so I'm not sure on the brand and colour names, sorry!

So delicate and pretty 😍😘
Very pretty !!!✌🏻❤
Thank u a lot for this amazing video, i got inspired for some amazing ideas thank you 💜💜❤❤
Hi I have tried this as want to make a wedding hair accessory but the edges blackened . I used a lighter . Is that too harsh for this technique?
Is it because I directly touch the fabric with the fire?
You may have to try a different fabric, and yes you shouldn't have the fabric right in the flame.
