Again...thank you for these introductory videos. They provide detailed information without being overly simplistic.

Well, I think I've finally figured out how to make comments on You Tube videos. This is a test comment to see if it actually works. If it does I'll be posting more comments and questions.
Thanks for what you're doing. Well maybe not..............after watching your videos I've purchased a Shoreline 4400 lathe and have a 5400 mill on order! LOL

I find a full size 4.jaw a lot easier to adjust than the Sherline chuck!

Adding to my last post since it actually got posted..........I have a question. What magnetic base are you using in this video? I ordered a Starrett "Last Word" dial test indicator with all the accessories today in order to set up my mill when it gets here. I also have a 4 jaw chuck coming, so want to use the "Last Word" for set up with it as well.
    Thanks, Jim

Also, I would suggest adding a "Sherline" tag somewhere. It is disappointing that the short-sighted management at Sherline have not provided this type of instructional information.

+Herr Schmidt Thank you for the multiple comments, I appreciate it very much and it encourages me to keep making videos. All the videos are tagged for search with "sherline" already in the youtube tags. I only put Sherline in the title of the first few videos about assembly, accuracy, etc as I'm hoping other mini/micro machinists will find the information useful regardless of their brand or model of machine. I'm still figuring out all the ins and outs of using youtube, I need to add descriptions to all my videos still and will additionally include Sherline there.

And yes....you are doing an excellent job of presenting the information in a way that is largely applicable to any machine used in the home machine shop. I look forward to your future installments.

Love your videos! Where can I find the tool post like one you have? Can you post a link?

I'm a 4 jaw newbie and I need as much help as possible and that marker-pen tip is solid gold... thanks.
