@@ctrlaltQQ I just opened a booster box. Verified that my scale was weighing in accordance with your scale. It was. Ranges for each card type matched, with perhaps only a 0.01g difference in the average weight. I opened the heaviest pack (21.60) it had a black code card, Trainer Gallery card, and a VStar. Opened a second pack weighing 21.36. My expectation was a white code card and a TG, but it was black with a holo and a radiant card. Which was also one of the predictions. So, yes the packs are definitely weighable! I have 21 packs 21.20g and less. I know that they are all duds. Won’t be opening them! Thanks again for all of your hard work and for making your information public. People need to know not to buy single packs from anyone!
such excellent videos and explanation. I have 200 AR packs I will be weighing tomorrow, I have already weighed and got full hits on lost origins, Fusion strike and Silver tempest was pretty simple too.
Just weighed a bunch of packs and noticed the heavy ones had hits… didn’t even bother opening the light ones. Then wanted to come find you again and see what you thought. Glad you made this video!
I opened 5 packs and left the lightest one unopened. The four midrange ones were either trainer gallery or holo rare and the heaviest was typhlosian v star… didn’t want to open the lightest pack. I didn’t weigh the individual cards themselves though. Watching your video I’ll have to do that.
I made friends with the guy at the store and he subscribed lol… in exchange for me telling him what etb to buy. But honestly it was crazy to pull an Origin Palkia, so glad you made this video as well to confirm my suspicions!
There's different weighted black cards this time. On a double banger the black card is super thin. You can feel it blindly since it has little resistance to flexing
Very nice logical video. Do you still believe this? I was weighing cards for a similar analysis and noticed that the mix of cards seems random. Some common cards have their typical weight and other times are light. Black and white code cards are mixed and do not indicate if a pack has a hit. I got a double hit in a middle weight pack where EVERY card was 1.59 grams except the V TG code card and energy. Seems like Pokemon is trying to keep us guessing
@@Kamalehalehaaa there was only 1 print wave of silver tempest/astral radiance. the results should be the same, but when in doubt just compare the white vs black code card differential
Appreciate all the effort and analysis you put into these vids
One of the best analysis i have come across! Knowledge is power! Kudos to u!
Thank you! I received my boxes yesterday. I’ll be weighing them today! Really really appreciate the work that you are doing!🤗
awaiting to hear your results

Did yours also have weird uncommons and rares?

Replying again… went to nearest store and pulled three full arts. Only bought three heavy packs. Can confirm.
@@pokescientist how are they letting you weigh them in store lol

Great work as always

Damn dude im so happy you do these. I want the Palkia cards from this set, he is one of my favorite cards since i was a kid
I do these because you (and others) like these types of videos!
let me know how yours turn out, curious if european packs are also 21g instead of 22g
Thanks for doing this. Is this issue only happening to English cards? More specifically, the US side.
Dont know, I dont have any european friends that have info to share unfortunately
Yo. Are you going to be doing a weighing of lost origin?
Yes

Maybe you got wave 2? I dont know, I only tried wave 1
This would work with 3 pack blister packs as well correct?
if it follows 21g range and not 22g, I'm guessing yes. I didnt open any 3 pack blisters to test myself
I just weighed around 30 packs, uncommons were same as yours but the rares were ”normal” weight around 1,84 grams. European packs.
And to add, for some reason 2 of the rares were 1,52 grams like yours but the rest were 1,82 grams. Really weird.
yea its really odd
Cool
Can you pls do list origins?
Don't think I'm doing it 😬
@@ctrlaltQQ :(
Are you a manufacturing engineer? You sound like my husband! He could fix their issue too!
lol you really think pokemon was just like ooooppppsss, no they they know. Silver tempest is the same, heavy = hit
I found out and my results are the same as yours
Is this still so?
