Sunflower Bean is one of those rare groups where their live performances are even better than their studio versions. The fact that they can all play more than just rhythm while singing is pretty awesome.
The high pitched ending chorus is just perfect, the chorus literally spells "All I heard was Silence" while the high pitched tone deafens you with melody , a beautiful irony executed with masterful performance.
Saw them at a dive bar in Santa Cruz in 2015(?) and we moshed with Julia (while she was playing the bass, no stage) they absolutely killed it - will never forget that night.
Ashraf Rahman That’s a great observation. There were definitely similar influences and parallels betweeen the two players as there were between Stephen Morrissey & Michael Stipe
Incredible live version. I kinda don't like live versions because they mostly are inferior. These easily matches the release version. And, of course, tops in a way due to the presentation. Awesome.
I love this band, but they seem like something is missing live compared to studio. Again still sounds great but I feel they'd benefit from another touring musician or two.
Su voz parece incorporarse sin mayor problema al principio de la canción, suena diferente al video musical, pero prefiero esta versión, muy agradable voz
great tune. wish she sung it live a little closer to how it was in the recording though. too many times singers put a spin on certain parts of the lyrics when sung live and in doing so lose something special in the process. still a great band though.
When you play it live night after night having already played it to death in the studio, you have to change it up a bit from time to time to avoid BOREDOM!!!! Ask anyone...

AMAZING AND FLAWLESS PERFORMANCE!!!
Sunflower Bean... MUST. SEE. THEM. LIVE. (File under "note to self.")
Hard to believe the live version is better than that already perfect studio version.
I saw them last night in a large outdoor venue. They sounded great. Good show.

The guitar parts sounded like a mash up of Jonny marr and Peter Buck. They sounded great

Interesting take...I think the style leans more towards Buck. Love the observation!
With a hint of Lindsay Buckingham
