The party energy this resonates hits in such the right way. Thank you Prospect for making hidden Eastern gems like this available to us Westerners who more-than-likely would have never came across any of it otherwise. ❤
I discovered this because IMDB said it was composed by J.A. Seazer, the man behind the duels songs of the anime, videogame and movie "Revolutionary Girl Utena". Yeah, it's totally that style.
I am just finding Tokyo Kid Brothers and I'm absolutely in love with them! It's really hard to find information (in English) about them. Can anyone tell me an English translation for this song? And if anyone knows any other info about the band/band members I would greatly appreciate it! Really I want to know any and everything about this amazing band.
Ну да, но вообще это из фильма Бросай книги, встречаемся на улицах Ториямы, там весь саундтрек такой. Токио кид брозерс и непосредственно J A seazer много музла к его фильмам написали вообще.
I recognized the languages, making it seem like it was actually music using a future conlang based on earlier languages. Like with the Belter patois from The Expanse or Nadsat from A Clockwork Orange.

I know this comment is a year old, but, i dont have the exact lyrics, but basically theyre listing things like skyscrapers, technology advancements, entertainment, gods etc. then asking " WHO IS IT FOR??" at the end of the sentences, in the scene before this song the characters are talking about das kapital and marxism, basically its asking who gods, technology, etc. is for when the people are in poverty
@@kanjonojigoku8644 you're thinking of the song "dadada" from the scene where a group of young people are rallying in the streets (hehe) dancing, singing and writing on the floor. this song is called freedom and it's about that I think. at first the chorus is chanting "don't grant freedom to the enemys of freedom" wich is what is written of the football field, then "let's make the words! It's a charity", "freedom! freedom!" and so on. or at least that what the subtitles I found for the film said. sadly they don't translate the whole lyrics
@@cameeeel no that song is the one before, and its mostly about the americanization of Japan (a theme in the movie) they compare peace from the usa to a brand of cigarettes called peace, like the peace with the us is shallow, cheap, cancerous and capitalistic, at the end of the movie the character says that japan will become like a "lizard stuck in a coca cola bottle, too fat to get out". This song is more about the shalowness of capitalism and how hollow the economic bubble felt to young adults of that time
@@kanjonojigoku8644 That's another song. Furiidamu is just a repetition of like 5 words. "言葉" (words), "愛" (love), "自由" (freedom), "染まれ" (paint yourself), and "宇宙" (universe).
Prospect movie made me find this.
Lmao same
Bronze medal for me. This song was the last one to find from Prospect movie. Job done, phew.

When i heard it i went straight to credits to look for this song
I love throwing sticky yellow rectangles at walls to this song
You mean sewage filters for a spacesuit? It's a visual and literal take on the old metaphor of throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks.
@@robertcorbell1006 I love this film
Everyone is talking about Christopher Nolan, but I discovered this through throw away your books

Nope, just japanese
