This was from the BE album witch was written during covid, JK directed this and it was filmed in the apt they shared up until 2022..it was really tough for them as artists but they still found a way to comfort ARMY when we were going through lockdowns…etc..fun fact this song was the first Korean song to go to #1 on billboard hot 100.
A little background, they had released an Album "Map Of the Soul 7" before COVID, 20 songs, which they supposed to have a world tour in 2020 to wrap up their first phase and then join mandatory military services. But then unexpectedly, came COVID and they had to cancel their world tour. They had to change their plan to try to stay together with ARMY, therefore, released the song Dynamite to cheer ARMY up. Then released a COVID album "Be" about how they felt during COVID. Held Online concerts but without live audiences. Somehow, out of their hardwork and care for the ARMY, BTS got themselves to an even higher level, and gained even more fans. So they postponed (specially approved by the Government too) their military service to 2023. Later they released Butter, Permission to Dance, "Proof" album, and solo projects. "Be" had some very emotional and very good songs. Blue and Grey, Fly to My Room, Disease, etc. Map of the Soul 7 also has "On""Black Swan"Dioyonasis""Louder Than Bomb"We are bulletproof Eternal" ,etc. this is an album you can't miss, too epic to miss any one of the songs.
This is such a nice, comforting song! Fun fact, they filmed the MV in their shared apartment since it was during covid, so we got an insight into their home through this.
They had to cancel their MOTS7 tour because of Covid less than a month after starting promotions for it. Army was devastated and so were BTS. Their intent was to do the world tour and enlist but covid dismantled everything they had planned. To alleviate their own disappointment and that of ARMYs, they did so many things like online concerts, various lives, impromptu performances on shows, as well as creating this member created BE album. V directed the photo shoots and album insert material with input from all members. V also insisted on JK directing this MV while other members all contributed to the songs with RM, Suga, and JHope providing a large portion of the lyrics. This mv is bittersweet as like you said, they’re all happily watching old videos in their Jammie’s, eating pizza, and enjoying one another, it also shows how people were essentially out of touch with one another, families, friends etc. and no longer had the freedom to live life as before.
Make it right, Yet to come, Louder than bombs, we are Bulletproof: the eternal, These are some of their most emotional songs and they are very good! You must see them without fail! 💜💜
The end where they are singing to an empty stadium is heartbreaking. BTS will make you cry more than you know. I even cry sometimes during their happy songs because they are so wonderful. There are some really good suggestions in your comments. You should also react to V’s Singularity and Dimple and Pied Piper.
“Annyeong/안녕” is used as a casual hi and bye. True meaning of the word is peace/well-being/tranquility and that is why the word works for both greeting and farewell. J-Hope is saying start and end the day with the word 안녕.
Be album and mini concert hits hard during that time, period. V song blue n grey had everyone mood, and this song just had many answers. Dynamite had that wake up call.
Yeah, it’s totally about the pandemic. About the only time I can make it through the song without crying is during live performances of it when they are being extremely cute
En pandemia perdí a mucha gente querida, entre ellos a mis padres y aún cada día los extraño,una de mis hijas me mostró a BTS y desde entonces ellos ,mis hijos y mis nietos iluminan mi vida❤
It is the first Korean song to reach No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is also the second non-English song to reach No.1 in Billboard history. 💜👍🇰🇷

Jungkook directed this music video and RM, Suga and J-Hope co wrote the lyrics.
That’s why it’s so plain

This song really helped me during the pandemic. Top 10 BTS song for me personally (their discography is stacked, so that says a lot).
STAY GOLD. , SAVAGE LOVE...
