You knew it has to drop by! Haha! Still editing my own reaction to post soon but I am just over the moon at how much of a fighter and overcomer she is. She has always been this way despite the horrific things she has been through. She really does see life as a gift and it’s inspiring. After the recent loss of Mandisa, I really needed to see this from Celine. ❤
The problem with Celine's songs is, that they are like running a marathon, so, it's really hard to tackle when your body is not 100 percent yet. If she had an easier repertoire, it would be difficult, of course! But not as hard as the mountain she's facing. Anyway, I also have the feeling she'll be back on stage, even If it takes a little longer.
It may be true that her voice is currently not at the capacity we are used to, but we also have to adjust our expectations and understand this wasn't Celine singing full on in performance; she was in conversation causally riffing. Musicians and vocalists understand exactly what we just saw there. ❤

I hope so. She is such a talent. Many singers modify their range, etc as they age. Barbra Streisand is a good example of that. Celine can do that.
