Hi HeinrichHartrott.. Yes the meter maids are iconic in Surfers and great for tourists to get photos of.. Plus some of the money for the calendars etc goes towards charity so it is pretty cool like that too.. The reason they weren't in this video is that this video was done mainly to show the 'natural' side of the Gold Coast - rainforest, beaches and wildlife.. Listening to your comment we will put the meter maids in the next Surfers paradise one though.. Glad you liked the Gold Coast! :)
the Gold coast is on my bucket list. You can save on expensive romaing charges by unlocking your phone and using an Australian sim card when you arrive.
Should be a great game to be at. First for the new stadium! Hope you enjoy your time on the Gold Coast !
