Interested to see what you have in you packs but surprised that you don’t carry spare spool/ reel. Presumably you have some some where. How do you deal with this aspect of gear? Cheers.
i've recently adopted the nylon wax and am struggling with finding a suitable way to hold it, noticed yours snap into an object that's holding your leaders. would you be willing to share the name of that product and where i can find one? cheers from california, and thanks for posting the video.
Hi Patrick - it’s a large diameter cable tie that’s fed through the wall of my pack to form a “tapered loop” if you play around with the tension / size of the loop you can make it grip a foam leader winder with a perfect size gap left to hold a wax tube .
Hey Howard. Brilliant set of vids and I'm finding them really helpful. As the William Joseph confluence pack is no longer available (that I can find) have you seen any similar packs that are worth considering ? Am moving away from a vest set up and inspired by your video advice :) Cheers..........>Sorry, just read the comment about the JMC pack

Spare spools can go in the back if I need them , I often carry a second rod on my body instead though .
@@howardcrostonflyfisher9227 how do you carry the spare rod?
Scott freeman Normally an “o pro’s belt holder “ - it’s a movable cradle that fits to a wading belt
Hello Howard, where did you get that cleaning pad that you use to remove the flourescent wax ? or did you just make that?
thank you
Just from the supermarket- then cut to shape .
LOve the sharpening stone on the snips idea!
What flies do you use to target dace? U mentioned you had a box just for them.
Mainly small tags & CDC palmers , same flies I use for Chub but in smaller sizes .
