Even after US was there from 2001-2021. This is their culture and nomadic tribal lifestyle for hundreds of years. Don’t feel sorry for them, this is how they live. I do feel blessed that I was not born into that world. But they might feel the same way.
I would love to know their backstory. Is this how they have always lived or were they another casualty of war? After spending time in places that are not considered first world I am amazed at how joyful humans can be. Joy independent of circumstance and privilage. Why is it so elusive to us in the first world? I don't know how it will happen but I believe we can learn some serious life lessons observing other cultures. I wish them every blessing
