So enjoyed hearing and seeing you Tony and of course my favorite Uncle Andrew and the crew! So cute! I'll be watchful to see more adventures with the Convery Clan! Hugs to all.
Loved this honest to goodness family film on the old 8mm cameras. Precious few had the luxury of adding a live sound track which in some ways makes it more endearing. Thank you for making it available for a great trip down memory lane.
Thank you, thanks of course should go to Tony and the Convery family for being willing to share the cinefilms and be interviewed. Many thanks for the nice comments, Paul, film-maker.
My friend Nan, Mrs Howie, stayed at no 69 new mains road right across from the airport. Mrs Howie worked in the small canteen and we used to just jump over a small wall and visit her. No problem. No security about or anything. It is was great. Susan laird Renfrew
I wonder if they would have known my Gran and Grandad, John and Elizabeth Docherty, as they both lived in Gallowhill too. They both passed away in 1979, just a couple of months apart. Æ 🙏
Thank you for sharing this fantastic film that you dad took. My sister and I were also brought up in Gallowhill. Did you have a sister named Halina? If so my sister used to be friends with her she used too live in the same street as me in Foxbar.
Brilliant, thank you for this. I remember my dad taking us down to Renfrew Airport at the weekends, walking from Penilee.

So wonderful that you preserved your father's film. Do,you have any more footage of the renfrew airport? I'm doing a project on it.

My sister went to St James's secondary and I went too the primary.
Yes, life was simpler back then.
