The music video definitely reminds me of HWAA era. And the face shot at 13:45 reminds me of the I FEEL butterfly version album of IDLE. Especially that background mixed with the butterfly scenes. The lipstick scenes/sofa scenes remind me of NXDE, the lighting, outfits and color. The song was a bit meh at first for me but it grew on me and I love it now! I missed Soojin so much as a NEVIE

I also like to believe that the set she's on (Agassi) is the spring version of Hwa. Soyeon said herself that Hwaa is a winter song. They're on a frozen lake/pond. In Agassi Soojin is in water. I do agree as an ot6 Soojin stan myself in what you see 😊 I'm so glad our QUEEN is finally back, as a soloist we can now fully focus on her and support her as we always have in her time away. She deserves this comeback and our love and support! Personally, I think BRD is doing the right thing by promoting her focuses to international fans knowing that's where most of her support are coming from.
The shot where she's behind the glass reminds me so much of that photoshoot where she has butterflies in her hair, I think it was Oh My God Japanese version? And yes, the shots with the fabrics reminds of Hann. Also the red gloves I think were one of her looks during Oh My God
the beginning notes of "아가씨" actually reminds me of bibi's sweet sorrow of mother (which you've already reacted to). i recognized the familiar melody right away black forest is such a beautiful piece of music and the symbolism in the dance is truly on another level. congratulations to this queen for making her comeback. i hope she will become successful
The Scene with Soojin behind The glass definitly remindes of the Teaser Clips for HWAA/I Burn Era in General also the Scene with the Orange/Red Background and the Mirror Scene has Senorita Vibes and yes the Hand Portrait Shot is definitly reminiscent of Lion and (might be a stretch) the Outside Scene has a Little bit of HANN Vibes 👍🏻
the red and green interior actually reminds me of "In the mood for love" by Wong Kar-wai, and the corridor wall is definitely giving "2046". Also, the "Agassy" is the Korean name of Park Chan-wook's "Handmaiden" which I also find quite interesting.

It feels like I got more of Soojin's voice and dancing than I got during her entire time in (G)I-dle. It's not exactly "rediscovering" her. It's more like finally getting to know her a little.
To me there's a lot of Hann and Hwaa visuals, the hallway scene is reminiscent of Senorita and the makeup mirror scene is coloured and lighted like it would fit in Nxde and Queencard's mirror scenes. There's also a part with hands around her face that is very Lion Miss her
So it's too early to know if a comeback in the industry is realistic or not. It's certain that these fans will love it and it's certain that many others will think that she has nothing left to do in the industry. but what is certain is that she has the courage to try her luck again despite the criticism she will inevitably face. I also really liked Soojin before this whole affair. but I think that for the survival of the group Soojin had to leave. leaving her in the group could have been catastrophic for the group. thanks to that (G)idle was separated and had 2 fantastic years full of success and gain in popularity. now everyone has the right to a second chance and Soojin has the talent it takes to succeed I really like this mv and this song. looking forward to seeing the return of people.
