10:38 this is the exact opposite of reality... No tips are necessary for restaurant servers due to the tip is already added to your bill. If the waiter is exceptional then you can tip an additional amount beyond the mandatory 10% but it is by no means standard practice...
I am Costa Rican and here it costs the same whether it is in the App, card or cash, it is not normal to give a discount and it is not normal to tip, because it is already on the bill.
I have seen a lot of videos like this about Costa Rica, and this has to be the most full of S one yet! 20% tip on top of the service charge? Car rentals are cheap? Cash will save you money? Are you kidding me? Where did you come up with this BS?
