hello! just wondering, why does my image corrupts after uploading the image? when i download the image from mysql database after uploading it, i cannot open it and my vscode cannot decode it either.

I had this problem as well, it depends on what structure you have saved your image as. In the tutorial, he uses the BLOB structure so if your following this tutorial you must have data structure as BLOB. If you want to change data structure go onto 'structure' in you database and change image structure to BLOB.
Your Error is that.. your Inserting the Data but data is not getting saved into your DATABASE.. ok.. 1. Your try to upload image so check your form tag i.e: 2. Check your Database connection i.e $connection = mysqli_connect("localhost","my_user","my_password","my_db"); 3. Your Table name where your storing it. i.e.. $query = "INSERT INTO tablename" try with this

try with this
IF your code is correct.. then check with your DataTypes into your Database.. For IMAGE -> it is BLOB
