Dude ijust found this page first video isaw was 3yrs ago glad tovsee your still at it , please keep making videos , iwork in sanitation , have a landfill right by my house , and your stuff is inspiring
Love your business plan, you don’t need to scale to make a nice living, low debt is the way to go, kudos to you, and keep making videos, great content, thanks for sharing.👍
Love the video man. I’m full time fire and full time landscaping. I hope I can eventually catch up and snowball all my debts off. The first few years is pretty hard when your trying to grow but it definitely feels better the more debts are paid off. I should be there in the next year or two
That’s awesome! It definitely helps you grow quicker being able to borrow which is what I did for the first few years but now trying to be as low debt as possible and strategically plan!
Im getting ready to start my owm residential and roll off company. What would equipment should I start with? I have around 100k and haven't applied for any credit at the moment.
Are your personal vehicles registered to the company or personally? And what's everyone's opinion about registering business vehicles in personal names vs registering personal in business name? And is there any advantages of either?
We do business in the business and personal in personal. Really depends on the usage of each I believe. An accountant would be best to ask for each situation.
Over the past couple years we have really focused on route density and service area limits. We did have a compactor truck all of last year that got about 17,000 miles per year. We expect about the same on the older F250. As for dumpsters it’s around 20,000 miles per year
Watch that Yukon engine I got a 21 Chevy with a 6.2 83,000 miles on my third engine major lifter, failure problems. All done at GM dealer. My seventh GM truck I think I’m done with them. What happened to GM. so sad
I have heard of the lifter issues as well! Definitely only planning to keep this until the warranty runs out. Nothing seems to be made like it used to be.
You are killing it man. Great business you have built. I love equipment tours. More footage of the trucks working would be great.
Thank you!
Thinking like a business man..and some simply don't understand that!

Stay small and keep it all! Nice job!
You are an inspiration. Keep up the videos. Why did you get rid of your compactor?
For my business it just wasn’t worth the overhanging debt, replacement price tag and maintenance cost.

Yes! Thank you!
Running it great. What a smart move

I don't understand how the cans work, can you explain it to me, is it an additional income?

You’re killing it 💯
Is it hard to see how to hook up with the 36 hooklift? I was wanting 54 but a lot harder to find
Ours is very easy to use now that we have used it for a while. There are a lot more 36” hooks on under CDL trucks it seems.
Hey! I just got into residential trash service after doing mostly junk removal last year. Any advice on what software to use for billing or routes?
We don't currently use a routing software but we do use Quickbooks and Jobber for billing and estimating!
Can you run a 20 yard can on that F600?
Can you share what your dumpster rental prices? Price per ton at dump?? Thanks
Where you purchased the hook lift truck from?
We bought the truck chassis in Ohio and the Hooklift in Pennsylvania
You’re in the sweet spot bro💪especially with this economy. Keep up the fire and stay trashy!
Do you offer every other week residential service?
No we do not
You only run 15yders? Do 20yders not fit on that truck?
They would fit but with the GVWR we haven’t pushed it since we see 4-5 ton in these 15s

What’s the reasoning for trading the trucks in after 100k miles?
How many cans would it take to compare to a 2yd dumpster.
Roughly 6 large cans
Where do you get your trash carts from?
We have used Otto and Cascade in the past
So what do the carts make you per year 700 of them? $400k?
Have you ever thought of using rehirg or toter for your trash cans?
We haven’t looked into Rehirg but I have talked to Toter
@@lakechamplainsanitation7226 what's the pricing for toter?
Are you still doing car wash / detailing?
We do it over the winter months here and there as just a filler for now!
I like your business, but I am wondering why the miles are low on your trucks.
