Wonderful job at explaining delay relays. You told us we’re your from when you said “kidogo 😅”, I am also Kenyan based in Boston searching the web on this topic for my job. Thanks 🙏.
Hello there, we have problems with Voltage fluctuations, where the voltage dips briefly and then comes back on right away. This causes my AC compressor many problems, so I installed a ICM Delay on Make Timer. The strange thing is that the timer does not cut out at those dips but only delays once the electricity goes off completely ( same counts for the built in delay in my Air handler thermostat). So here my question : would a Ditek Surge Protector be a solution or do I need to install something else ? Thank you so much !
Your all the videos are very knowledgeful and your style of explanation is fantastic. I would like to request please make a video on whole component of Electrical panel and its working with connection diagram. Hope you will consider my request. Thank you for making such amazing video.💖💖💖💖
It's not On delay relay....... let's call it On delay timer. now let's answer the question. When the main power blackout the Gen will start immediately..... Now, remember your timer is ON DELAY. the moment a timer receives supply it starts to countdown the time you set( in second) before it supplies the circuIt................ that's why its called ON DELAY.
Hey you can never exhaust these types.....Bt here are some 1) On delay timer 2) Off delay timer 3) Photocell sensor or timer (ya it's also type of timer) for lights. 4) Time switch timer( for both lights and control circuits.. Though it's no longer used a lot Not... we have new timer on market that play both On and Off delay in one unit.. Op that helps and thanks for watching
You have concentrated on the NO & NC contacts but completely avoided explaining about the second dial ( the multiplying factor) . I think it is important for learners.

This Channel is great for Electrical videos.. Keep up the great work Sir 👍 👍
I appreciate, and thanks for watching.

Is timer necessary when building change over switch for grid and solar power
yes it necessary to add it on the grid side.
@electreca1 thanks for the feedback
Hi , David pleas show us about cyclic timer setting ?

Sure I will
You are really doing a wonderful job to explain how electrically components are connected .Thanks a lot.
You're most welcome and thanks for watching.
Where can I get ON delay timer 12vdc
you teach better than my teachers
How do I get the video on THREE PHASE ATS FOR GRID , GENERATOR, SOLAR CONNECTION?
Sir very well explained thankyou very much, eager to learn more of Electricals and electronics from you.
Thanks for watching.
What about the ones that have A1, A2 and A3
A3 is used for DC voltage, A1+ and A3- DC voltage can range between 12 and 24.
How does on delay relay of the gen operate when the main power has gone off I thought it can't operate when it's not active with power
It's not On delay relay....... let's call it On delay timer.

@@electreca1 I thought OFF delay timer is the one which delays before releasing power
@@tychicusnthenge6414Off delay timer basically delays to turn off the circuit when de-energized. Opposite of the on delay timer.
Thanks very helpful video. I'm just wondering does this relay have 1hr delay?
A max of 30hours
Thanks for watching 👍
what difference with on delay timer? i think same
Good explanation about the connection of a timer
Thanks and welcome
Thanks for this! I needed help to do my work
thankyou very much, that's what im looking for
