I own this bike aswel for a couple of months now. Prior to this i owned a honda blackbird whitch in my opinion got to heavy for me (nobody gets jounger with the years...) No regrets at all for the swap. This is an exellent handling bike with a very comfy riding position and a timeless styling. Jou can't do wrong with it i.m.o. if you looking for a rural road fun spender, you are spot on with it.
Did you get it? I got one last March as my first bike (the full-power one tho) and I love it. Plenty fast, probably too fast for a beginner but if you're responsible you can definitely have lots of fun on this thing ^_^ Enjoy the ride :)
@@JM-wr2foyes I got her😊 she’s currently sitting in a family members garage until I get my no claims bonus from my 125 in November. I passed my mod 1 and I’ve got my mod 2 tomorrow, fingers crossed I pass. As much as I’m happy I bought her (2008 black edition, 12,000 miles for £2700) it keeps me up some nights because I just can’t wait to be able to take it out and give it the beans 😂
Ive heard about this snatchy throttle,im not a biker yet have not passed my test ,i can ride though,im 52 a skinny tall guy i also have dodgy knees 😂 do you think its suitable for a more mature rider like myself even though i will be essentially a new rider . Or should i go the other way save some cash and get an older carb bandit

If you have dodgy knees you’re better going for the Bandit as it has lower foot peg position.
Whats the operating temperature on yours in traffic and open road,on mine its around 80c on open road and got up to 99c in traffic,is that normal?
