  • We put the Millennial Falcon to bed and fly back to Australia where we meet up with the family on a Lagoon 421 catamaran to cruise the Whitsunday Islands.
We made a clockwise circuit around the islands starting out with Whitsundays peak, accessible from sawmill Bay in Cid Harbour.
Next we hit Hamilton Island marina to collect a few extra bodies before heading north again to Stonehaven, Hayman island, around the top of Hook Island (where we had a great time on the nets in some bumpy seas). Headed south, we stopped at Butterfly bay, where we had a catastrophic drone crash, then further south to Tongue bay, the view point for the white sands of Chalkies beach Whitehaven. Then it was home to Hamilton island marina again for a wedding.

Stunning place the Whitsundays! We got to see a bit of it when we brought our boat back to Brisbane. Looking forward to going back there next season.

Just subscribed - followed all the vids in sequence from your arrival in Florida to here. Squeaking sands? There is a beach on Prince Edward Island called "Singing Sands Beach" with the same characteristic - the sand squeaks when you walk on it. Might you consider traveling north to the Land of the Frozen Mocassin? 😊 Great stuff you two.

Hey guys, I know this is well and truly after the fact, but next time check if your charter company allows you to sail North of Hook island before mentioning your location on camera (Charter company employees use social media too!) Admittedly, it’s been a few years since I’ve skippered a yacht in that lovely part of the world, but I seem to remember QYC prohibited bare boats from heading North of the Northern side of Hook...

Ah YES...HAMO Island...where they charge $18.00 for chips! LOL
    Hmmm...sound familiar.
The only difference is Hamos would SHARE their chips!

Why did you go back to Australia? If you mentioned it in the video, it was really hard to grasp due to lots of giggling.

Dwayne Tanner my sister was married there. mentioned it on the way to the airport. 😉

I caught it on the rewatch - your narration volumes are a little low and background noises garbled bits of the a-roll but hey - I did watch twice 😉. You guys seem like a fun couple so it’s worth it. Now get out of hurricane alley!!

No sre if it possible, but during the production of your videos, is there a way to "equalize' your sound. I'm having to adjust the sound on my tablet throughout your videos.

Ha ha ha, EVERY MAN AND WOMAN WHO CALLS THEMSELVES A MARINER/SAILOR/YACHTIE - NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO THROW A LINE!!! (Both the eye of a line AND the bight of a line!) Make it easier on yourselves to learn - splice up some medium - large diameter three strand Nylon lines and practice, practice, practice. (Because one day - your lives and the life of your yacht, may literally depend on it! WORD!
