James Brown was a perfectionist. He could hear a wrong note, a missed beat, any mistake he heard it and he would fine a band member. His band was called The Famous Flames.. In one of his records you could here him say I gotcha. But if you didn't know it you think it a part of the song cause he incorporated it into the song.
I had to look up this song by James Brown during 200x of watching Boomerang this weekend. It was perfect for Marcus' walk of shame through the office of women and Jackie obviously talking about him after the breakup. James Brown was like that and his music will live forever.
Mr Brown singing from all angles pouring out all his soul i really didn't think he had any soul left after this this is one heavey song thank you god father of soul for your presence you have grace us all here on gods earth🕺🕊️👄
Boomerang brought me to this song!! My favorite movie of all time!! I’ve watched Boomerang more than 60 times in my life and could not figure out the name of this song or who sang it. I’m ashamed not knowing it’s the Godfather of Soul himself! The song and tone was perfect for scene in the movie!!
Classic James Brown with the Famous Flames.fried chicken, candied yams, collard greens, corn bread, iced tea and banana pudding.Who can relate to being a southern girl and eating good food like that?
For the first time today, I saw the movie "Boomerang" the title just never interested me, well I must say that movie made me "clap my hands" and say YES!!!! that's exactly how it feels to be dogged! I should have known it would be good with Eddie, Martin, and David in it, but oh well! LOLOLOL!
I SMOKE ME SOME WEED LISTENING TO THIS AND DAMN IT SOUNDS GOOD EVEN WITH OUT SMOKING. AND HIS OTHER SONG.. OH BABY DON'T YOU WEEP... AND THERE'S MORE.. HIS BAD IN MY SOUL HE LIVES FOR EVER..
Bewildered, lost in a dream In the love I need why did we part Bewildered, has love, has love died dear Wishing your heart could feel, what's in my heart Must I have sleepless night and endless days Oh love why did you keep my soul Without a spark, I'm in the dark Bewildered, I need your, I need your I need your guiding hand I'll never, no I'll never understand How you can love me, how you can love me How you can love me, how you can love me How you can love me and leave me Bewildered, bewildered ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
lost in a dream of you** where is the love I need... ** Have love died dear** sleepless nights ** Why Love, why did you keep *** Thanks for the lyrics. I know it aint easy.

+guido dee JB did a lot of old standards as album filler. Of course he had a big hit with "Prisoner of Love" which Wikipedia tells us was originally done by Russ Columbo in 1931. So I checked it out on UA-cam. I couldn't make it all the way through. Then I watched the Billy Eckstine version. That must be where James got it.
This song is by JAMES BROWN & THE FAMOUS FLAMES....not "James Brown" alone. They were so credited on the original 45 single release !! You can CLEARLY hear THE FLAMES on background vocals.
