Starting from Scratch on No man lands in a new series of Survival Challenge on Farming Simulator 22

Having watched both you and Chainsaw since the start of this series.. I'd love to see a future collab where you guys both work the same farm, but alternate days with zero communication. So you start the farm and at the end of the day you log out and Chainsaw has to do the following day and repeat to whatever goal you guys set.
I think it would be interesting and awesome to see the Mega farm you guys would create.
Dont do that to Chainsaw...He would be like WTF?!
Because of your current and future need for silage, I think you should consider turning all of your new plot (Field 35, i believe) into a tilled grassfield so you can get more yield from fertilizer, lime, and such. then you can just place productions on top of it as you need space for expansion. Possibly even build one of those massive double silage pits on it, and eliminate your original silage pit to free up some room in your yard (especially since you don't need silage on that bottom half of your barn. Also, you can fill your entire large tanker with water at the store for Thirty-Two (32) Pounds per full load, though it is slightly less convenient to have to drive to and from the store. Keep up the great work!!!
This! I commented a few episodes back they’d have both benefitted from a designated grass field 🫡
Try to store your equipment in your storage shed by driving through it sideways, you have better access and things don’t get blocked in as you can easily back them in and take them out from the sides. Just a thought
I think you should start putting lime on your fields. Lime spreaders usually have a pretty big working width so it could be an easy way to increase yield
when you move the pit get the bigger one or just get rid of it entirely and use wrap bales in the future
I agree a larger pit and a higher capacity loader wagon
@@BSSimulations i agree.
I would also suggest, that you move the Watertower, Greenhouses and Sawmill as well, not only the Silagepit. Maybe they could all be placed at the West Border of Field 34, now that you have Field 35 for Grass.
This would definitely keep you from running over your crop. Lol
Dag.... Please just get a bailer wrapper combo. You waste time with using a pit for silage.
A fermenting plant/silo would make things a lot easier on you and take up less room than the silo pit plus I think its time for eggs and a storage silo it is episode 35 after all
I have commented the same thing on numerous times. He just doesn’t want to use it I guess. A fermenting silo would make his life so much easier.
productions like that come w a per day fee.. besides.. watching him say woop every time he struggles in the pit is part of the charm.
They dont have fermenting silo in this game I think. But I think he would make silage faster with a big wrapping baler.
I think eggs might be a little to much to manage as he already has sheep and very soon he will need to do more with the cows as they will start reproduction.
Something that might help with those peaks in the silage is putting a compactor on the front of the tractor, it will push things down and to the side.
17:04 Additive should be chilling still over near the sawmill pallet spawn area. It was in your field next to the sawmill, but then you came and pushed it out over near the sawmill pallet spawn and said you really should be moving that, but will do it later, its not crucial for now... That was a good 20 episodes ago from memory.
How come you didn’t just put the left over silage in the methane production if you don’t need it for the cows yet?
You spend a lot of time cleaning up and packing the pit. I think bales and wrapped are more efficient for time and work. If you made a grass field a helper could mow for you.
Why do you always buy that red mower, you're paying double for 1m wider working with.
You'd be better off spending half that on a bigger forrage wagon.
Because it creates swaths and therefore saves time on having to windrow the grass. In the case of a worker friendly field it would be worth saving the money. For Dag, he he doesn't have that so it saves time.
@@aidanbonny7926 You can make swaths with the pottinger and kubota butterfly mowers aswell.
I'd never seen FS have a gmod moment like at 6:40, especially in the shop, but it was certainly hilarious!
In real life, about 10 ounces of gold will give you about $30,000. A stack like that is probably worth $197,000,000
More like add a 0 to that, for each pallet
🤓🤓🤓
Lol. If it made that much I don't think he would be allowing it in the savegame. That's if it made it into fs in the first place 🤣🤣🤣
@@DonGorgen Not quite. A standard gold bar is 438 ounces. 1 ounce (last i checked) was about $3000. Each pallet has 30 gold bars. 5 pallets with 30 bars each. Can do the math from there.
@@SebastianLong 1 pallet is 1000 liter wich is 19,3 tons
you really should give yourself more room around the fields. The loss of crop is insignificant
This.
You should have got the Krone Big M because you don't usually get the chance because you never have enough money and it would also mix things up a bit with a different machine. It also allows you to do it at a faster speed and wouldn't use up a tractor.
I agree, I dont think I have ever seen him use it. Maybe on Haut Beylron? In any case, there is just something so good about that mower, and while I at first thought it was fictional or somewhat specialized that model is sold and used in the US IRL too.
you should invest in some Solar pannels or a wind turbine to get some more cash every hour
Love this series 🙂 many thanks to chainsaw and yourself, could you update your playlist please Dag 🚜 🏆
This is the quickest ive seen a video after its been released
Sell wood processors, buy oil press or flour mill! That’s an exciting change
Sell the tiny tractor that has the stump grinder mounted too. It’s just sadly rusting away. 😢
under tranport belts you can find a mod that works like an snowblower but you can use it for sillage very easy to load up any transport
6:28 One of the funniest glitches and reactions to a glitch I've ever seen
daggerwin i have a question bc u record and then release that vid on another day how do you do it with chainsaw ?? like does chainsaw do the same or is there another way
i watch both of their videos for this series, and Chainsaw relieses his videos at the same time, and the same days (for me in California, 7am on Thursdays and Sundays). he really is doing some cool stuff on his farm, so its worth watching Chainsaws videos too, IMO. I watch Dagg's first, since its longer, then immediately watch Chainsaws (which are usually approxomitly 15 minutes each, and all timelapse which i know isn't for everyone)
If you press CTRL, it will actually use all the tools. So CTRL X will unfold everything you have attached, CTRL V will lower everything you have and CTRL B will switch it on and off. Its perfect for when you have front and rear mowers etc etc.
Also. I prefer to make sileage either using bales or by using a silo. But making it with bales, loading them up and putting them where you want them so very easy.
Corn for silage, then a silage silo. Your going to need a lot of silage now. Keep up the good work.
I realize I'm way behind on this series, but just in case I'll throw my 10 cents in.
Silage: at this point I'd be using a fermentation production for this. But if I were sticking with the bumker silo, I use the loaded wagon to compact the material before I dump out. One trick I've learned recently is to set my cruise at 1mph, then use the Vehicle Control Addon mod to maintain straight line, makes perfect and even pile every time.
Then for single players on PC there's a newish mod that let's you hire a worker to compact the bunker for you. Doesn't work on multiplayer though unfortunately
Milk cows would a very profitable investment. Think about it. I also feel you could make more grass if you replanted
thet next tractor you buy has to be the Claas Xerion. it is perfect of your mower👌 and i dont think you ever used it in fs22
Why not just buy a Silo that can keep Silage?
I think it’s time to start getting ready to move to a new map, probably after harvest
You're evicting him?
@@seanobrien7169 I think probably around episode 40 because then he’ll have been five months on the map
"...as we have the power, why not use it?"
If He-Man was British.
Shouldn't Chainsaw win by default? You haven't strictly had a farm since you deleted your tent surely. :P
He's sleeping in the tractor.
@@seanobrien7169 😏
Wood mill and furniture would be a good idea
Hi! It would be so helpful if these episodes were in the playlist please. It'd make them so much easier to find =)
I am up to episode 30 of my play along. One chain I have going is 2 oak trees a months > 1 Sawmill > 8 Furniture Factories, and I am still making more planks then I need. With the Platinum DLC, they changed trees a lot. An Oak tree only takes 114h to fully grow, with 6000l of wood. So I only need to plant 10 at a time.
i would not only upgrade the silage pit when you go to move it. but i would also upgrade the loading wagon as well for something a little bigger. that way your not just having to unload non stop when your collecting all that grass from the field's.
U should make silage bales for the cows and for the second cut put in the pit for metan
It would be efficient to get more spinnerys. I can see it is not keeping up as it still has 17,000L. Keep up the good work
Have a tidy up too bud! Seem a bit disorganised at the minute and don’t like seeing you keep driving in the crop!!
Hey daggerwin I think you should move your silage pit since all your grass is over by the animals
Haha also I should finish watching the rest of the episode befor commenting hahahaha
It's not everyday you see a 50ft pto shaft like the one at 11:30 on this great video.
Hey daggerwin if you have not chosen a new let’s play map you should try the diddly squat map heard it is a good map
i love how the mower in the store had a stroke and then flew into space. 6:26 🤣
You really do need to invest in the pressure washer
G'day Daggerwin, Love watching your videos. I have been playing solo on a beta map by Levis "West End x64 beta 2.4" Yes it is a huge map but it would be so damn good for a multiplayer game. It is an exceptional map with many new crop types, oil, coal, gold, iron mining and electricity for productions to contend with. In addition to over 20 new crop types. I know you need to be a patreon to download the latest beta map and map equipment but in my mind it is well worth it to help out modders.. Worth a look... Cheers mate, keep up the great work.
Mine rock to get stone for gold
Combine shed, paths and tilled grass field.
Why are you not using a leveler for the bunker at front of your tractor?:p
It would be nice to see a proper road system in/around the farm and productions area
Why? Just a waste of money, doesnt make any difference, he can drive over grass just as easy as anything else.
You could really use an another spinnery, you have the wool for it and the taylor is running on empty all the time now
Just noticed that if you climb to the very top of the dealership you will have a profitable view
Will u do the old stream farm pls
😅😂
The long PTO returns 11:39
Hey daggerwin. i am enjoying your series. could you please update your playlist to the survival challenge series? it stops at episode 22
The more grass land he aquires he will need a bigger silage pit and a bigger pick up wagon
If you want another large tractor i'll say if articulated then big bud 450 it might be slow (19mph) but not too big but 450 horse power is more than enough for that plot
I dont know much about the game but may i ask something about the sillage pit:
After mowing why not just baile the whole lot. Then take the blower thing you use to feed the cows and blow it all into the pit?
You would have to baile the remaining grass regardless so this way you kill two birds with one stone. You'd just have to flatten it afterwards.
if you do silage bales it will be less work the pit silage
If you move the silage pit, get a bigger one. Too much spillage from that first one.
Daggerwin I love your videos on all your series only thing that annoyed me is that you abandon things everywhere.
Why don’t you put the pit closer to the cows? And while you’re at it you should gravel the cow/sheep yard, it would clean it up a bit
Dag...how about selling that pallet factory and expanding the farm yard?
You should try to get a deutz fahr 6006 mod its cool or a tractor that your not familiar with rakovica 75
Dagger I love this series
Day 4 of asking daggerwin for a setup tour so I can play fs with the same stuff as him
You should do chickens
loving the series but just out of interest what episode does the challange end
what mod have you so mowers destroy bushes ? 8:28 hope on answers.
Didn’t you buy that other plot last ep, u could probs use that for silage
You should put a track in between the greenhouses and the field there, so you're not destroying your field.
Think about it logically, if he puts a track in he will destroy much more crop than just driving where he is. This holds true to the real world too, this is why you use tram lines instead of just making a wide path.
@@seanobrien7169 but... but... it looks nicer!
He should relocate the greenhouses and upgrade the water system
@@ugninis222 $$$$$$ Things are working fine, does the need outweigh the investment? I think a cotton harvester would be a better use of the money.
What economic difficulty is this eries on ?
Get a bale rapper
Agreed, make sure you Drake up the grass first.
puf puf pu-pu-puf homey got da trac...tor...homey got da grass...see homey cut it..get off his @$$...puf puf pu-pu puf.... (bale rapper...okay, it aint Tupac, but whata you want?)
Need to buy a fermenting silo
Still can’t walk the poor tab button needs a rest
Time for a bigger forage wagon?
Why don't you buy a silo compactor
Remove the floatations!!
Every time I see that gaudy tractor I laugh at how ridiculous they are. They're not helping anything
do u use a steering wheel
Is there a mod list for this Survival
Challenge
Did you give up on your sawmill?
Mmm i haf a trick wif the silo wen you hug the wall and sett the speed thu 1 mph then youll gfet a realy good and smothe row and you kann doo tat over and over again ans soo you fill your silo nicely
lol translate to English...
Use the new plot
Can u please put your machine's away instead of just leaving them every where
do you plan on ever doing a face reveal?
How did these appointments go?
Daggerwin why don’t you play Bally spring it a uk map
He plays it on Survival Role Play
@@aidanbonny7926 oh who nice
7:46 it’s 5
you should get a Jon Deere tractor for mowing and a bigger planter.
I would like if you were a little more specifik about what songs you use. Like the names and such, not just where you got them. It's not very helpfull when i try to find them...
Second very good video i love watching you play fs
Your soybeans fields only had one stage of fertilization. 🤦🏻♂️
Why not make it a real grass field
$$$$$$$$$$$$
Your kinda wasting money on non nessercary things
Ayup!
First
First of all nobody cares and second of all nobody asked
🏆
@@onyxgamer314 it's just a game I play
For the love of god, are you're trying to loose on purpose?
How much time are you going to WASTE using that damn silage pit? Sell the damn thing, the loading wagon AND the crappy baller, and buy a wrapper baler.
ROTFLMAO if he is going to lose that is the LEAST of his problems...
You could put a shed near the productions to keep the pallets in until the price is best
Daggerwin cleanning his spillages gor once😳
