I bought my pc from them to secure a 3080 and ryzen 9 chip. Never buy cheapo PSU from these companies that are branded with their logo. Their case choices are ass too so I took the pc apart and built it on a new case with proper airflow.
This or something wrong with the case/mobo. Possibly been mounted incorrectly and its shorting out. this seems more logical since they cant even install other components correctly..
Sometimes chrome just randomly closes. Are there any reasons why something like this could happen? Its not like worldending but its just weird and I wanna know the reason.
@@bai1t934 Variety of factors honestly. Anything from conflicting software hogging memory, bad drivers, bad memory, corrupted user profiles.. as tedious as it is, you may need to do a full wipe of chrome and give it a fresh install.
That was my guess too, I'd use a 750W psu to be sure, or at least 650W. Reseat cables too, it may help. Prebuilts are notorious for shitty psu's and motherboards as the consumer often doesn't pay attention to those, but to the cpu and gpu only. Often they will have rgb to look pretty too, but rgb doesn't really add fps.
Yeah it takes long to earn that gaming pc especially when you're not a youtuber not a live streamer and not an online seller, i'm waiting someday to have my own set up and i'll buy them myself soon enough i can feel his pain
@@Usernamebreh not knowing anything about it, I built my first PC in 2 hours and was better off for it. Now, I can strip down and rebuild a PC in just minutes
@@-LucidDreamer- yeah, like when you buy a motorcycle and then there is something wrong with it like its missing a few screws... Then its your fault for buying it... You should buy the just the parts and built it yourself...
Honestly learning to build a PC isn’t that bad and the best part is that you get to choose how you build it and don’t have to worry about sketchy PSUs and bloatware
This is why I have been building PCs for the past 5 and a half years, decent pre-built services are hard to come by, and honestly you save money doing it yourself
well, not anymore. its literally impossible to save money and do it yourself now. unless you had a pre existing graphics card, its actually cheaper to buy pre built for now.
I mean... I got a custom build from CPPC with an 11th gen Intel and a 3080.... for $800 *less* than it would have cost me to build it myself (obviously, the 3080 price being $1700 at the time of my purchase). Fuck building your own right now. Even old GPUs are going for stupid prices due to demand.
I built my most recent one. It’s got a 2080 evga hybrid I was lucky to buy on eBay for msrp since cards are a bit scary in pricing at the moment, a i9 10850k, 32gb Corsair vengeance pro 3000mhz, 750 gold Corsair psu, 3.5 Tb of storage on ssds, and a z590 mother board. It costed like 2500 is dollars though so not cheap 😂, but I was able to find my buddy one of very similar specs on Cyberpower for 1500 with a 3060 in it and I looked it over for him when he got it to make sure they did everything right and other than a few cables that I maybe would have router a little differently it was fine and he definitely got a pretty solid deal. So it depends on when you buy vs make your own for it to be cheaper.

Honestly buying a pre-built from them my experience wasn't that bad. It held together really well and lasted a good number of years. However after that I built my own which feels more worth it then buying pre-built. Prebuilts can also loosen up in shipping as well, but I am sure whoever put that together had to be fairly new
@@Aberrantly that's a possibility, but less likely since they probably wouldn't be working with anyone. Cyber power takes weeks building and locating all parts before shipping. So really they only need 1 guy working full time on it just to find everything and toss it together in a warehouse. So I'd go with new
I used them years ago and loved my pc….till my little brother spilled a giant cup of water into it. It lasted a few years and was still strong till that moment. By far better than my ibuypower experience. I’m guessing it depends on if you get a decent employee who built it or not.
@@hahameho3400 Completely agree Cyberpower tends to be better more often then not, in this clip it was clearly just a abd experience that could have happened from shipping or a poorly trained employee. i would still reccommend building a PC yourself since you will learn more of what you should upgrade in the future and its limitations better then any prebuild generally one. atleast with CyberPower you can see power consumption and such
I had the craziest experience with cyberpower, these guys build pc without knowing anything about cooling. If you have one that shut off, take a good look at the cooling set up. Most of them don't cool, they swirl air inside.
Update: The middle fan was not connected as it should have been. I had to buy an extended fan connecter just to have the middle radiator fan to work. As for the PC shutting down on its own I reset bios to default because when they shipped my pc the ram was over clocked and I don’t know why (they probably changed other settings I didn’t know about). As for the radiator I screwed as much screws as I could so it can be tight and secure. Everything is fine now and performs ok. Btw I did format, reset settings, updated everything including drivers. My issue is this, if a person buys a BRAND NEW pc they shouldn’t have to open it and do things to it so it can be exactly how it should have been in the first place and no one wants to wait more than 3 weeks just for it to be repaired by them. (Also it wouldn’t hurt to sub 🙂)
The rams supposed to be overclockdd bud. Its a “feature” of ram nowadays to include an “over clock” profile for it to run at it’s advertised rated speed. Turn on the xmp or docp profile for your ram and it should still run normal unless there’s an issue with the ram itself.
I had set a custom ram setting in bois to its advertised clock speed and it would shut off at random... i switched the ram settings to xmp 3200mhz instead of costum and it stopped shutting off. so its probably just your bois settings for your ram
i bought a PC from corsear and yeah i did that same thing to me it just randomly shut off... i called the people and wow what bad service lol they said to take things out of the PC and i was like... look... i bought a 4,000 dollar system so i dont need to deal with that shit... it shouldnt be my job to break my back and fix your fucking issues... none could help me so i just got my 4,000 back and my friend suggested digital storm because he was getting one and they CHECK YOUR PC BEFORE SHIPPING. they build it from the ground up and give you updates... ive had this PC now for prob 4 months and wow it still works like a beast... you shouldnt have to fix anyones mistakes honestly sweetheart dont... get your fucking money back and buy from a better user... the problem with the corsair was system 32 error so it had to do something with bios or motherboard... its unfortunate they've cut corners over the years. my 2012 pc i bought from them is still working, even the 120mm aio that should have died 2 years ago. the only thing that has failed so far was the very first hard-drive. i'm actually converting it into a NAS with freenas this week. already got a 4tb drive on the way
@@pedrosoares7273 Depends on use, I played on laptop of years on end, same exact 1TB hard drive for like 10 years, upwards of 4-5 Windows Reinstalls per year and it ran perfectly, I've gotten my first like PC, not laptop and it had some 320GB HDD from 2007, 100 percent health. Hard Drives are better in general. I've since changed my PC with a newer one, got it last year and I'm on my second SSD because the first one failed, might I add it was just used for Windows, never installed programs or anything else on there. From personal experience HDD's are slower but more reliable.
Same I had one with a FX-8320 since 2015 and it was still running strong until I decided to build a new one with new parts just 2 weeks ago. Plan on setting it up to mine crypto on the side since it still works
Weird. So buying from cyberpower is like gambling, I got my pc from them about 3-4 years ago and never had an issue, was able to upgrade ram and the cpu without any problems, but recently I've seen nothing but people having problems with them. I think either its a chance you get something good from them or maybe their quality control has gone to shit over the past couple years
Also 3-4 years ago they might have been better consistency and overtime cut corners to make more money like every company does over time , same company just built different now
I agree with you, I got a cyberpower pc i think 2ish years ago and its working perfectly. My friends have also gotten all cyberpower pcs so Im thinking their quality control has gone to shit.
Bro same I bought mine last march and it’s been running so nice and I’ve had zero issues. Upgrading to a Corsair cooler and added two more ram sticks and I’ve been satisfied since. But I’ve. noticed a lot of people having issues lately so I’m glad I got the other side of it
I've bought two from them and they've worked great, but I *am* also aware that people online have horror stories about them. I'll admit that I wouldn't order a liquid-cooled PC from them. That's where I see the bad reviews: when liquid cooling is involved and something comes loose so the liquid spills over everything.
The components in the inside look pretty decent. The issue is probably a loose wire or a bad psu that makes it shut off. You could probably find whatever screws the radiator needs.
The guy probably raged n kicked it, got mad n decided to make some video slandering em to vent you can even see the dusty ass fan n case. They guy talks bs lad
I had the same issue with mine. I had a faulty PSU, that was way underpowered for what my system had at the time (650w attempting to power an RTX 3060), and the RGB in the case stopped working. I had multiple power issues while gaming as all fans would go 100% and shut off my display. I gutted the whole thing myself and rebuilt the entire system myself. Put in a new 850w NZXT PSU as the PSU installed in my system was cheap non modular 650w China PSU, removed the old RAM, swapped out the RTX 3060 for a 4070, and installed new Corsair fans. I also learned the fans are PATA-Powered fans which explains why they work like shit. CyberPowerPC does not know how to build PC's correctly, and the tear down I did shows where they cheap out on parts. From what I learned, it's always better to build a PC on your own.
I don't know how long you've had the system, however you can either get them to fix it for you, or get your money back on it and buy from a different company. Personally, I build my own PC, but I understand that's not what everyone does.
I was forced to buy a prebuilt this time around, buying a 3070 from $1500 as opposed to buying a prebuilt with a 3070 from $2000 didn't feel quite right. But oh well, got myself a very neat and well kitted system, with plenty of room for upgrades. Nothing is proprietary OEM bullshit, including a 240mm AIO, a b550 gaming f and plenty of ventilation in a modified Fractal Define C case.
Yeah it's absolutely crazy how the value of a GPU is much lower in a pre built than by itself. It's just scummy. I get pretty pissed off how poorly customers get treated, just because they wanna buy a GPU separately.
i just got the parts myself and built it watching Joey Delgado and it works like a charm. Good pre-builds that don't cost you an arm and a leg are hard to come by.
I bought a cyberpower PC 6 years ago and never had any major issues with it. Idk if this is a one off or if they've gotten worse over the years? Either way I'd suggest to anyone to just take the time and effort to figure out how to build your own and you'll never have to deal with or worry with being screwed over in any way. My next PC I will build myself, but i'm just saying I've always known them to be respectable so idk :/
@@Wylie288 There *is* widespread reporting of it though. Have you seen Gamers Nexus videos on Cyberpower prebuilts? They are tied with *Walmart* for being the worst!
@@Phage0070 Damn, it does suck that so many are having a bad time with them. I still have two separate rigs from them, both still work perfectly fine with absolutely zero hardware issues other than windows being windows with its updates. Maybe as of late, with the pandemic and all the constraints that brought, cyberpower has gone downhill? My most recent build from the, was back in sep 2019 and that rig is still good as new ( typing on it now). Also people should get in the habbit of inspecting their prebuilt the moment it arrives before turning on. Very common for things to become loose, dislodged during shipping or even the builder of that pc could have "forgotten" to plug certain things in. Feels like most of the issues are showing up within the past year or so, since before then, ive always had a good experience with cyberpower and friends have said the same over the years.
Nah, they are fine as far as I'm concerned. It's just that people with negative experiences are more likely to be extremely vocal online and in reviews than people with good experiences. People who have no issues are enjoying their products and have no reason to go into online forums to discuss their products, whereas those with issues take online to complain because they have no other outlets to attempt getting their problems fixed. So when new customers come in doing research, all they see are the negative responses, which in turn pains the company as one that does bad service. You have to look at things logically. How many PCs do we figure CPPC builds for customers per year? How many complaints do we see online that are real complaints? Is the number of real complaints large compared to the supposed customer figure? If an item has 100 reviews and 20 of them are negative, is that actually 20% bad service? Those 100 people aren't the only ones who bought the item, they are just the ones who reviewed it. This item could have 10000000 people who bought it, but only 100 reviews, and only 20 bad reviews. When you look at it that way, even though it shows 20% bad reviews online, it might not actually be remotely representative of the product quality.
@@ElementalSk81 I bought a CPPC build in October. December now and it's perfectly fine. No issues. Little on the hot side, but I attribute that to the damn 11700k chip... I think in recent years, the QC might have gone down a bit, but I want to say it's probably just more people coming out to complain because they have much easier outlets to do so. With how many systems they sell and build, the amount of complaints, while they look like a lot, probably aren't *that* much compared to the total amount of customers that never review their satisfied purchases online to offset the bad reviews.
I have just recently bought from them. I just stuck with a very mid range unit because I am completely fine gaming at 1080p. When I priced all the componets myself at current market, building the same system would of actually cost me $210 more, which is why I went with buying the pre build. the only thing that could be better with it out of the box is the thermals, but that was easily solved for me by just simply making fan adjustments that were easy and no extra cost. If i was to ever need a high end machine, then I would obviously build one myself.
I got a pc from cyberpower a year ago and it has held up perfectly, I also got a 3070 for retail in that build. It definitely pays to swap out some parts like the power supply for better quality ones when configuring from the site, but there was zero problems with the build at all.
I had overheating issues with the i7 where it got up to 95-99c in cpu temperature then few months later bad ram bosd with memory issues. Had to drop 220~ on top of the purchase just to make the pc functional
I've built my own for years. Always fun. But also bought one from them customized with certain specific brands of what I wanted. Arrived in perfect working condition and lasted many years. Also ordered 1 for my uncle because you literally couldn't purchase the parts for the price they sold it for built. 2 years later his is working perfect. I understand bad builds happen but maybe not crap on the entire business? They back their product. You should have complained and then they would ask for pics then they would pay for it to be shipped back and fix it for you. Also how do we know this wasn't a cyberpower pc sold from a different store and not shipped directly from them?
Ive had 3 of them work fine, but thats just my experience. I've built over 35 PC's, and haven't found anything wrong with their builds. Taking them apart is crappy, but only because they use zip ties for cable management and cut them to the end. This is a mistake from someone building PC's all day, and most likely tired. It doesnt happen to the majority. But, their support is amazing. If support was notified of this, they'd have replaced and maybe even upgraded it being it was their fault.
My first modern pc I bought from them with a 2080ti/8700k and it's been working fine for 2 years. Just built a 3080ti/5900x pc myself and gave the CP to my nephew and it's been good. I mean i'd never buy any full pc nowadays as building them is easy but CP didn't send me a lemon so idk.
This is why we don’t buy prebuilts, I was hesitant but after building my own PC once I enjoyed it. Took like 7 hours the first time but now I can easily do it in 1-2
I bought one a few years ago, it was a really good deal, 500$ for a fx6300 and a rx560 (keep in mind this was a while ago) and it came with all name brand parts and a good psu, and was built good with great cable management, only thing I didn’t like was it was single channel ram which j upgraded soon after, seems like their quality control went to the dogs
You could have done that on the build page, of course they offer cheaper suggestions when they are giving 2 or 3 very good and very in demand pieces to save money, but you can upgrade anything in the build on their site!
@@draynged7869 it was on sale at Best Buy, so if I bought it straight from them I probably would have paid more. I rebuilt most of the original pc for my grandpa and I was surprised by the fact everything in the original pc was good name brand parts, even the psu and hdd
this is why if you want to get a good pc built it your own (which is fun) or, go to a small shop to custom build you a piece. (they can be a bit pricey but they do an amazing job treating the PC as their own)
or buy a pre built, and watch any pc building video and go through and make sure everything is connected right and running well. It's just false to say you can't get a good pc if you buy a pre built
I’ve had one for years and no issues. My son actually bought one recently with a 3060ti that’s been working like a dream. Hope you got everything worked out though.
... and I bet it's fine The guy wasn't complaining it wasn't working, he said it was missing 2 screws. Mistakes happen and I'm sure they would have fixed it and apologised. I have one from 3 years ago and I love it. It's been rock solid ever since. I'm buy a new workstation from them for my studio this week.
It could be your power supply. 3070 demands a lot of power 550 at least. If your parts don't receive the necessary power your computer will shut off a lot. I recommend a 600w/650w power supply if you don't have one already.
I bought mine a few years ago, it was pretty ok. I had some troubles getting it to start when I first got it just because I had no idea what drivers to install and what not. Haven’t had to many issues after I figured all that out. But most importantly the fans, especially for aio coolers were placed into the worst way possible that could have potentially led to damage in the expensive components. So make sure you check the fan placement when you first buy one
Sorry to see the issues man, I used to be a tech at a repair center, and the amount of cyperpower pc's that came in with dead psu's after maybe a month of use, or just components not connected properly at all was astonishing for a company like them. If you aren't looking to build the pc yourself, NZXT's BLD pc's are probably your best bet. Hope everything gets resolved.
I would love to chat with you so you would have to answer my questions on the spot, and I bet I prove you are full of shit! NZXT?? LOL They just posted a picture installing an AIO upside down on their front cover!!
Yeah they are kinda bad, i think your restarting problems are caused by either PSU acting up (bad unit or just not powerful enough) or maybe a false contact on the pins for the restart button - Check first the front panels pins that are easier to fix, if it doesn't work try changing PSU
I mainly bought from them last year because I was new to the PC Masterrace and the GPU situation was dire. A year later mine is still running fine. Though I have heard several stories like yours. Maybe I got lucky.
Got a CyberPowerPC for a year now, good cable management, everything screwed in properly, so far no issues whatsoever, I'm also new to PC gaming, and I'm very pleased with them, I had my nephew play on it once, decided to take a look inside, and dropped the side glass panel, so I contacted them, and they shipped me a new one within a week, so customer service hasn't been a issue either, some stuff just gets shipped out bad, even consoles I've seen ppl open up brand new systems that we're DOA, doesn't happen that often but it does lol this is what warranties are for people. I Highly recommend them especially with all the scalping going on 10/10 from me.
yeah i also got a cyberpower like 10 years now, its good enough but it starts breaking apart after like 5 years, too lazy to buy a case so i just bought parts
"i dont know much about gaming PCs" it says it all right there. Multiple computers from cyberpower and had 0 issues, everything was done correctly and they still work to this day.
I bought one this year and the only issue I had was a faulty psu that they replaced immediately., my guess is that whoever built yours was the issue. The company does have issues don’t get me wrong but I definitely think it’s just builders error here
i got a 2080 pc build from cyberpower back in may 2019 and its still running fine the hdd went out recently and i replaced it but i dont think it was a problem with the company because there were many times where the pc was on and the power went out due to a storm, power outages happen often on my area. but but other than that its gonna be going on 3 years with relatively no problems im guessing if pre builts are bad right now its due to the resell prices of most pc parts and pre built pc companies still trying to maintain lower costs, guess i was lucky i got mine pre covid
Just to let you guys know I bought a PC from cyberpower and had no problem with it it was all together in one piece It runs clean It does not lag once I had it now for 2 years not a issue but what this guy is explaining is that they messed up on one of their builds not all cyberpower PCs are shit!
I bought a shitty PC prebuilt and I learned how to build one so I am now upgrading it with a graphics card because when I bought it didn’t have one because I wanted to learn how to build one myself
Bought from them twice and both still work fine! Most likely that happened during shipping! Shipping companies especially with heavy packages don't give a shit! They throw boxes that say fragile, and set boxes that say this end up upside down and ect! They build perfectly good PCs and they let you choose every single part that goes into the build from a pretty big list of parts! If they sold all crap then they wouldn't have a business! With that said I bought both my PC's from them years ago and have since then learned to build them myself and I love doing it! A buddy of mine that lives a few states away used them 4 months or so ago and his PC runs and is built flawlessly!
Yea man, I was going to buy from them but I had done research and I changed my mind instantly. Now I just decided to build my own pc it’s less and it’s not that hard as it seems I’ll come back at let u know my experience when I finally build it
The old motto is “if you want something done right you gotta do it yourself” It’s very relevant in this case, you’ll also save yourself some money to buy better components... and end up with a better pc that is built to much higher standards
I’ve got a pc from these guys and it’s doing me well, amd rayzen 7 5700g with a rtx 3070 ti, only thing I wasn’t happy with was the cable managing, some cables from the back were on show, so just sorted it out myself, my first ever pc, hopefully In about 2 years time I’ll be able to build my own
I've always been an advocate for building your own system ever since I built my first Pentium 2 233mhz rig but that's quite difficult now days considering the prices on GPU's, every prebuilts I've looked at the prices are inflated. There's really no way out other than buying a prebuilt or building your own using an overpriced GPU. Stock isn't the issue here in Australia, I can get anything I want its just the prices are insane.. Even second hand prices are inflated, the only other option is just buy a console IF you can get one and even then you will pay more for it but a Gaming PC will cost you allot more. There's really no way around it, I'm sorry this happened to you mate:( Did they help you?
LOL Prices were insane over the last year charging over double MSRP for every GPU on the market regardless of where you live! Not worth it at all! Just wait until they restock like right now!
@@hardcorehardware361 oh yeah let me just go learn with over a thousand dollars worth of hardware.. oops teehee broke my 1200 dollar graphics card and fried my cpu.. oh well most people have an extra 2-3k to throw around right?? right!?
This is why I’ll never buy I prebuild. I was actually gonna get a prebuild from some random Chinese company but everyone was telling me that their PCs are a scam. So I’m just gonna stick to building my own pc instead. It’s cheaper and you can any kind of specs that you want plus more.
That's why I take my time building and help anyone who wants a build. I can thankfully say most of my clients always become frequent customers and all my stuff i build lasts and works great That is just terrible the fan screws look like they stripped out from the aio rad honestly wouldn't be surprised to see that tho
Lol, remember when i made this mistake too. In their defense though, what they shipped me wasn't necessarily hot garbage, just certainly wasnt worth what I'd paid. Ended up junking the CPU, heat sync, the RAM, etc. but certain components it came with, especially the power supply and motherboard were pretty high end for 2015.
LTT's "Secret Shopper" series is pretty spot on as far as build quality and customer service. With the exception of Digital Storm of course. And clearly that's due to my own personal experience that I described below.
I built mines for like 500 hands down listen guys don't be afraid to do your research and learn how to build your own for first timers thank you for spreading the word my dude they have to know
2-3 years ago it would make sense to build everything on your own. However, due to covid and shortages it makes more sense to buy a pre-built due to costs.
Problem nowadays with building your own PC is the ability to snag a decent GPU. I had no luck getting a 3080 or 3090on my own. Got one of each buying a prebuilt from CyberPower within 2 weeks of purchase. FWIW, I bought 2 very high end machines from CP, and had no issues at all. They are actually the best/most stable PC's I've probably ever had.

If it shuts off a lot by itself, I wonder what power supply it has. It may be one too small and is overheating, causing it to turn off for safety to prevent fires (hopefully prevent them). From the looks of the corner cutting they did mounting those fans it would seem they may be using cheaply made parts.
I bought from them and I have basically replaced everything but the cpu and gpu. The first day I got it the Ethernet didn’t work I sent it back to get fixed. When I got it back the Ethernet still didn’t work. I also bought the pc with 6 case fans and when customizing the pc I hit default case fans and when the pc came in it only had fan (the cpu) liquid cooler, so I had to put 5 new fans. New ram. New Ethernet adapter. And I’m sure I’m gonna have to replace my cpu cooler soon. But by the amount of things I have added/replaced I don’t claim it as a prebuilt anymore I claim it as a custom pc that I built.
I had bought a prebuilt from cyberpowerpc 3 years ago. I didn't know it was a scam because I didn't know anything about pcs. It had an fx-6300 and an r7240. Both of those are around 2012. being sold for $500. a 40$ cpu and a $30 gpu in a $500 system. I built my own 1 year ago and its has an i5 9400f and a gtx 1660. I used the parts from the cyberpowerpc and upgraded it and gave it to my brother. It has a fx 8350 and an rx 480 which is enough for him cuz all he plays is minecraft.
My parents bought me that exact same PC a few years, not knowing that they had gotten ripped off because they also didn't know anything about PCs. Thank god I was able to get a new one last year with a 2060 and i7-9700f, because my god that PC was terrible, but I was stuck with it because they couldn't afford the buy me a new one.
I bought a CyberPowerPC like 3 years ago, it’s been working flawlessly ever since, never once had a problem with it. I’m sure with any pre-built PC company theres bound to be some that are really bad like this one.
I remember a few years ago my parents got me a PC from CyberPowerPC. It had an R7 240, a FX-6300, 8GB of RAM and a single 1TB HDD. I had no idea how much they paid for the PC until I asked them after I got a new PC last year with a 2060, i7-9700f, 16GB of RAM, a 4TB HDD, 2TB SDD, and a 2TB NVMe. They told me they paid $800. *800 FUCKING DOLLARS.* Like what the actual fuck? The whole rig is nowhere near $800. They couldn't even be bothered to put in 16GB of RAM or even an SSD. Unfortunately, my parents, who know nothing about PCs, bought it for me thinking it was a really good "Gaming PC" and had no idea that they got ripped off.
@Link What are you talking about? I said that my NEW RIG that I got last year is a 2060 and a i7-9700f. My OLD PC that I got a few years ago in like 2017 or 2018 from my parents was a R7 240 and an FX-6300 and 8gb of RAM. For $800, that is a scam.
@@sycolix and that was what they said. I built my own PC, 2 years later and never had a problem and any minor issue I've had I just manually fixed it myself. When you build your own PC you know it in and out. I would 100% recommend building it yourself for anyone reading this. As time goes by and parts get old you just upgrade as you need.
I built my first pc when i was 15 and honestly ive never had a issue with it since and its honestly not that hard and pretty easy, all you have to do is watch afew yt vids on how to build one and do some research on parts for it and you’re set
Yeah the only issue I had with cyber power was improper cooling ( My cpu kept overheating) and the wait time. It took me half a year to get my pc. I was originally getting a 3070 but they bumped me up to a 3080 OC. And I'm very grateful for the fact they did that. But yeah idk. I've always always always used cyber power pcs for my entire life basically but recently they've been slacking. They used to be the best pre builts but sadly I don't think that's the case anymore
I love your energy your just like me, been watching pc set up videos all day bunch of panzy ass nerds it’s refreshing to see I got homies like me who just want to game without any problems
You can’t exactly blame CyberPower with how shitty UPS & FedEx treat packages. I had a ducking footprint on my monitor box. It might have broken off during shipping. If I were you I’d build into a new case, building a PC is super simple and there are hundreds of guides online to help. I would change your power supply, and build into a different case.
With it shutting off every so often, im guessing cuz the AIO cooler rad isnt screwed on properly and the positioning of it is very close to failure, its not cooling the CPU as it should and so the PC shuts itself as a failsafe when the cpu gets too hot
Nah there's no chance that's what it is lol... that aio is in a perfect location. Definitely doesn't matter. The aio not being screwed down isn't going to make it not get air lol.
@@travnasty5269 didn't he say the fan wasn't spinning though? I don't remember now as I commented a bit after watching. I may be mixing it up with another video.
So you’re telling me if I pay you to build my pc, it comes in unfinished it’s the shipping carriers fault? No way 2 out of 12 should be screwed in to the radiator. On top of that I had to buy an extra fan cable to connect my middle fan since it wasn’t spinning.
I bought a prebuilt from them in November 2023. The PSU lasted 45 days before it needed to be replaced. After it was replaced, i realized the bad PSU also broke the capacitors on my motherboard. They put an offbrand 850 watt PSU with a 4070 RTX GPU and a 13th Gen I9 CPU. Total repairs cost me $800. My previous pc was built by my 16 year old brother at the time and lasted me 6.5 years. Needless to say this is the absolute only and last time I buy a prebuilt PC
People shouldnt even be able to use a computer let alone to play games without passing a series of tests to prove their knowledge. Do not buy a pc just for gaming.
Buy from lyte gaming or digital storm. Other than that I’d suggest searching how to build a pc and then dismantle yours to check the components. I’d chuck it up to a bad power supply as I have a bad power supply. Just check your systems specs order supplies for them fans. Watch a build tutorial from people like Linus tech or bitwit. And then get replacement parts. Good place is evga b stock. Every Wednesday their supplies go on sale. You can get good deals.
I feel like an idiot, I made a custom order and I have just been trying to contact them and still haven't heard back. PC isn't built yet. PC isn't shipped yet. They were JUST talking to me about parts and changing prices (LOL WHAT!?!?!?!?!?) but the bank already withdrew my money. I AM FUMING!!!!!!!!!!!! BIGGEST REGRET!
As other people have commented, the reason the PC might be shutting off is the Power Supply. MY gaming PC started doing the same thing for a period of time. (Really annoying when you are in the middle of a Vanguard domination!). I was troubleshooting it but the answer came soon enough when my PSU died abruptly one morning. 5 years and thousands of OC gaming hours will do that.
i was looking to buy an expensive computer from them but when i got to the part where they charge you extra for cable management and extra 10$ for thermal pasteeee are you kidding me. That should come standard with customer service. NGL the thermal paste got me doubting the service so i came to look up reviews and ended up on your video. Considering people buy pc that are worth couple thousand dollars and you gonna charge 10$ for thermal paste and extra money for a clean build is red flags! I know your post is couple of years old but thank you for your feedback.
I bought a Cyberpower pre-built at Sams club. Its an i7 13700, watercooled with 32 gb of DDR5/6000, a 4070 video card and a 850 watt power supply. Its amazingly fast and I have no complaints with assembly or performance. Why complain about mounting screws? I doubt Cyber Power will send you a free PC because of mounting scews.😮
Sorry you had this experience with them bro. :( I am using my Cyberpower PC build for 3 years now its still holding up well. In my build they did a good job but its good to know they arent consistent with it. Maybe I wont go back to them next time around
I just got my cyberpower not too long ago RTX 4060 i5 14th gen and its been working great! under load, the warmest it will get is around 45c-50c and in fact, it will get down into the low 30's on idle. The startup was quick and painless out of the box. Runs VR like a dream, plays cyberpunk with no issues, etc. definitely buying from them again in the future
everyone says how bad prebuilt are and cyber power pc, when you buy from the biggest brands like nzxt the build is instantly overpriced, i bought a cyber power pc 2 years ago and have not ever had a problem, just upgraded ram and ssd, never had to replace anything, everything was good.
This is exactly why when I was getting into gaming pcs I was told to build my own instead of buying a new one because many of these prebuild companies don't do a good job when building and try to cheap around which causes the pc the not work properly
Welcome to the club, only I bought mine from a company called DataDiscount. Paid idk 5 grand or so for it, looked great upon arrival, two days-in and shit had its first bsod. Spend and spent the next few fucking years trying to fix it only to realize that the fucking label attached to the bottom of the cooler hadn't been removed despite a bloody message telling one to remove it so it had no cooling happening. Anyway my CPU and GPU was fried by the time that I finally figured out the hell was wrong with it. Think I ended up spending an additional two grand or so getting experts from all over to take a look at it, but not a single one of them came to the conclusion that a tiny piece of transparent shit could cause the computer to break down. And I don't hold it against them, because the people who put the shit together had somehow managed to screw it on top of the label so it couldn't even be seen with the naked eye. 10/10 they did that shit on purpose in hopes to make extra money by me asking them to fix it. Here's to that they burn in hell 🍻
Mannnnn!!! I thought I was the only person buggin. I purchased one and not even 2 weeks later all my fans stopped working and my gpu didn’t last long. I feel your pain 🤦🏾♂️
ive bought 5 different pre builts from cyberpower and ive never had a single issue between low end or high end builds. whatever went wrong with yours sucks and maybe im just lucky but i dont know man ive trusted them for years and never have experienced the problems that i see others having.
I feel ya bro. But from where i live you can get your pre-built PC BUILT in front of your eyes. you can stay in the workshop till it's done, & they also install Windows and boot it to make sure that it works perfectly before you take it home. A receipt in attached with one year warranty on the components. But then again ye you can just buy your pre-built PC from any shop\site and be surprised when it arrives. I don't know how it works in Europe and The US but i'd highly advice you to go to the workshop and let them start building it right away in front of you. So you can check the components that you choose and ensure the quality of their work and if it was a pre-built you can double check it and compare it to what was listed on their site. Greetings from Kuwait bro!
Your best bet is to always buy the parts yourself and if you don't want to also build it yourself, get the local PC expert (best in your area) to build it. You'll be seeing him face-to-face, so he'll be sure to build it perfectly.
And this is why I spent the extra money on buying parts and building one myself. The GPU and CPU on these computers are the only good thing about them, they usually just cheap out on other components like RAM and PSU. I’d much rather spend an extra $200-$300 to ensure all the parts in my build are quality and to ensure everything is connected/built properly.
... lesson of the day: just because someone put it together for you... always double check the connections and make sure everything is secure before powering up to begin with.
I got a cyberpower pc for $220. It oddly enough was a display model at a sams club. Granted I want to upgrade the ram to 32 gig (only came with 16 gig) running a i7 and a Nvidia rtx 3060 12 gig. Only reason I got it was because my old i5 laptop died, that was the best price I could find for a pc at that moment. Not sure if they assembled it better since it was a display model, yet it seemed put together really solid when I had it open. So far I have had zero issues. Been running very modded Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas really good. I have also played Chernobylite with no problems. Next game I will try will probably be The Last of US. So I have no complaints for only paying $220 for a whole computer when the rtx 3060 12 gig is still being sold for more when buying it by itself.
I spent 3k on my PC from cyberpower before the 30 series came out and my computer has been flawless. Then I went and got a laptop from them last year and that is fine as well.
I have a cyber power pc and I love it. Just get a new set of fans lol We have to learn to be grateful for the things we have instead of complaining, some people don’t even have a fraction of what you have. Also, you shouldn’t depend on default parts anyway. I swapped out most of the major components in my pc already.
I bought my pc from them to secure a 3080 and ryzen 9 chip. Never buy cheapo PSU from these companies that are branded with their logo. Their case choices are ass too so I took the pc apart and built it on a new case with proper airflow.

My guess would be, if you're still dealing with power issues, is that you either have to low wattage of a PSU, or a bad unit.
This or something wrong with the case/mobo. Possibly been mounted incorrectly and its shorting out. this seems more logical since they cant even install other components correctly..

That was my guess too, I'd use a 750W psu to be sure, or at least 650W.
Reseat cables too, it may help.

Honestly buying a pre-built from them my experience wasn't that bad. It held together really well and lasted a good number of years. Or just didn't give a rat's ass.
@@Aberrantly that's a possibility, but less likely since they probably wouldn't be working with anyone. Cyber power takes weeks building and locating all parts before shipping.
@@trentenr7255 it could be the manufacturers skimping out, some motherboards just can’t deliver enough power, shit ram with bad timing, or heat.
Turn back on your factory RAM overclock. XMP. As others have said, it is designed that way. You'll lose a lot of performance turning it off.
I had set a custom ram setting in bois to its advertised clock speed and it would shut off at random... i switched the ram settings to xmp 3200mhz instead of costum and it stopped shutting off. so its probably just your bois settings for your ram

I think either its a chance you get something good from them or maybe their quality control has gone to shit over the past couple years
Theres also the fact that people feel more compelled to share negative than positive experiences with a product

@@TBlacky theres no dust
Personally, I build my own PC, but I understand that's not what everyone does.
with gpu prices right now, noone will bother with building a pc and will most likely get a prebuilt, unless you already own a gpu of some kind
@@namedinsanely its very easy to get a GPU at msrp, people who claim you can't. Don't even try to get them.

I get pretty pissed off how poorly customers get treated, just because they wanna buy a GPU separately.
@@ibyghee I would love to know how.

Its likely just your standard QOC exception. If this was a wide spread issue you'd see widespread reporting
With how many systems they sell and build, the amount of complaints, while they look like a lot, probably aren't *that* much compared to the total amount of customers that never review their satisfied purchases online to offset the bad reviews.

facts
I got a EVGA power supply 80+ gold I guess I just got lucky (I think they ran out of stock for the 3060 so they also gave me a 3060 ti instead)
Basically the same for me - this is the same company as CLX right?
Same here , my fans are still quite and I can run current games perfectly.
I had overheating issues with the i7 where it got up to 95-99c in cpu temperature then few months later bad ram bosd with memory issues. Had to drop 220~ on top of the purchase just to make the pc functional
I recently got a CyberPower Pc with 3060ti and it works perfectly as wel
I've built my own for years. Always fun. But also bought one from them customized with certain specific brands of what I wanted. Arrived in perfect working condition and lasted many years. Also ordered 1 for my uncle because you literally couldn't purchase the parts for the price they sold it for built. 2 years later his is working perfect. I understand bad builds happen but maybe not crap on the entire business? They back their product. You should have complained and then they would ask for pics then they would pay for it to be shipped back and fix it for you. Also how do we know this wasn't a cyberpower pc sold from a different store and not shipped directly from them?
Well when the majority of their reviews on both UA-cam and retailers are bad I'd advise people to stay away from them.
If support was notified of this, they'd have replaced and maybe even upgraded it being it was their fault.
found the ceo of cyberpower.

@@travnasty5269 didn't he say the fan wasn't spinning though? I don't remember now as I commented a bit after watching. I may be mixing it up with another video.
@@elijahhmarshall should be the PSU maybe not enough wattage.
thats not their fault it was prob a shipping probblem mine came perfect
So you’re telling me if I pay you to build my pc, it comes in unfinished it’s the shipping carriers fault? No way 2 out of 12 should be screwed in to the radiator. On top of that I had to buy an extra fan cable to connect my middle fan since it wasn’t spinning.
@@JGonzu mine was fine and plays great that’s fucked up tho what happened to yours
@@JGonzu How could that possibly be a shipping problem? Did the mailman open it up and unscrew the radiator fans and unplug the fan cable? Lmao
Hype Lord is an Idiot
@@Jack-yt1fu he was saying it wasn't, read the comment he replied to and then read his reply AGAIN.
Do not buy a pc just for gaming.
what are you talking about dude.
If your cpu is randomly shutting off i bet they didnt even use thermal paste when they mounted your cpu.
Still proud of my stores here in our place where they give you a book with all the prebuilts and actually build it infront of you.
Watching this right after I bought one
Sorry you had this experience with them bro. :( I am using my Cyberpower PC build for 3 years now its still holding up well. In my build they did a good job but its good to know they arent consistent with it. Maybe I wont go back to them next time around
I just got my cyberpower not too long ago
RTX 4060
i5 14th gen
and its been working great! under load, the warmest it will get is around 45c-50c and in fact, it will get down into the low 30's on idle. The startup was quick and painless out of the box. Runs VR like a dream, plays cyberpunk with no issues, etc. definitely buying from them again in the future
fans aint even spinning bro
POV he got ripped off and you been upgrading ur cyber power with no issue
everyone says how bad prebuilt are and cyber power pc, when you buy from the biggest brands like nzxt the build is instantly overpriced, i bought a cyber power pc 2 years ago and have not ever had a problem, just upgraded ram and ssd, never had to replace anything, everything was good.
I’ve been using a prebuilt by them for 5 years and had no problems at all.
ik this is late but i’m thinking of buying one for my first pc are they good
@@ReganMurphy-bh4vb yes, they are
I bought my cyberpower for $1500 during the gpu shortage and I absolutely hate how it only gave me a rx580 and a r5 3600 with 8gb of ram and a b450 mb
This guy probably broke it lmao im bout to get the vortex str i7 rtx 3060 ti
Hence why I built my own. Many people think it’s hard. It’s not. You save money and never have to deal with issues like this
And this is why I spent the extra money on buying parts and building one myself.
Why should you be grateful for getting scammed? You pay them to do something they agree they need to fucking do it right.
