    So I take it as granted that the various U.S. armed service are quite satisfied with that Swiss designed and made aircraft. Provide hefty royalties to swiss based Pilatus Aircraft company. Good for everyone.

    Brakes?... Hot?... err, umm, how does a turboprop this modern NOT have *reverse pitch (Beta) propeller* for super effective thrust reversal?? I smell Congressional-influenced DoD bidding shenanigans again.

      The PT-6 can do it depending on the plane it's on, but it's not necessary on a basic trainer aircraft like the T-6. It can already land well within 3000 feet.

      Because it’s an intro trainer to airplanes that don’t have them.

      @@McBoeingDrVr navy trainers had beta before switching to the t6. Not needed but why would you get rid of it if it may be useful in an emergency.

      F-15s do not have reverse thrust.
