Brakes?... Hot?... err, umm, how does a turboprop this modern NOT have *reverse pitch (Beta) propeller* for super effective thrust reversal?? I smell Congressional-influenced DoD bidding shenanigans again.
The PT-6 can do it depending on the plane it's on, but it's not necessary on a basic trainer aircraft like the T-6. It can already land well within 3000 feet.

Because it’s an intro trainer to airplanes that don’t have them.
@@McBoeingDrVr navy trainers had beta before switching to the t6. Not needed but why would you get rid of it if it may be useful in an emergency.
F-15s do not have reverse thrust.
