High Guardian Spice Was A Failure

- High Guardian Spice is a Crunchyroll Original series that has had its fair share of poor reviews and criticism as of late, but was this truly a surprise? Starting back in 2018, Crunchyroll released a trailer for High Guardian Spice, which lead to Crunchyroll and the series itself to be criticized by those in the anime community. So whether High Guardian Spice was good or not, wouldn't do much to save it from the sharks in the water...
My honest thoughts about the show is that it's whatever, I don't think it's "The Worst Anime of 2021" as people would say. The best thing that came out of it were the videos by Spilling The Milk. Also I like Parsley.

Curnchyroll became the thing they swore to destroy
Well, now I can better appreciate why people disliked the show. I had seen promotional material for it a long time ago and thought to myself "how colorful, maybe I'll watch this", and then I saw youtube videos saying it was awful recently. To be fair, the character designs are very colorful and their outfits are very detailed. It reminds me of Wynx Club in that regard.
Honestly I really like Parsley's design
showing behind the scenes before even showing anything about the show only works if its Guillermo del Toro or Alex Hirsch, otherwise get lost
Yeah since they already had previous work published, people are able to take their word that their next project is going to be quality so I get what you mean
