    Pourquoi tant de vidéos sont filmé dans ce format? Pourquoi ne pas tourner la caméra/le smartphone de 90°?

    Why are so much Videos filmed this way? Why not turn the camera/Smartphone 90°????

      Hans M Because many People just film, to have a video of it, and they don't film to have a highly professional setting. Thats why, and I think, it is filmed with a smartphone which is mostly (/mainly) used in this position.
      And if it would be turned 90° then you wouldn't see the pyro in the background, and the athmosphere would go away.

      Hello TheNameLP. Thank you for this explanation. Now I understand how those videos are made. Still I don't understand why it is so difficult to hold the smartphone turned 90 degrees.

      It's scary that we consider it a "highly professional setting" when we use our smartphones to film horizontal formats.
