The attack the new nahobino form uses "paraselene blur", is moon related. The definition for paraselene is a bright spot in the sky similar to a parhelion but formed by moonlight.
Looking at its description, it can only be used after evading a hit in the previous turn. Which would fit with Tsukiyomi’s gimmick of upping his evasion through doubles. The protag’s new “luminescent mirage” skill also fits with this moonlight/evasion theme.
I bet Aogami dies so you and Koshimizu team up to get revenge. I imagine its not a complete nahobino form though which is why it still looks more like the protag, as I consider his form with Aogami to be incomplete because Aogami is a protofiend. Maybe Yuzuru also dies and thats why he has to resort to using you and your incomplete transformation.

@@louish5068maybe, but yuzuru specifically had koshimizu’s knowledge. Maybe because he and Aogami there’s a bit of crossover to allow him to fuse with protag, but the base game was pretty strict about nahobino pairs having to have the right knowledge.
@@aydencasey4800 Probably also because Tsukuyomi and Susanoo were born through Izanagi, where their birth process is very different, they were both born from Izanagi's self-purification after a visit to Yomi. They are not only related by blood but both have the same roots, that Izanagi. Zeus and Baal (Hadad) also mentioned that they could become Nahobino through MC's body because they are same as the storm god like susanoo, that MC has the knowledge. Zeus had lost the person who had his knowledge for a long time, namely Dzulqarnain or possibly Alexander The Great, as well as Baal whose knowledge and essence seemed to be divided into 3 , Belzebub, Baal and possibly King Ahaziah

@@MILDMONSTER1234the whole Moksha thing gets people thinking that but considering Brahman in DDS2 has a physical form while The Great Reason as far as we know does not means that Nanashi with the Messiahs in the Diamond Realm DLC considered is far above Seraph and is on par with Joker who achieved a similar feat with stopping Adam Kadmon Takuto Maruki who had interfaced with an aspect of the Great Reason just the same as Stephen. He is stated to be more powerful than the Demi-Fiend by Sophia after you defeat The a Demi-Fiend so I don’t get where the idea he hasn’t surpassed the Demi-Fiend came from.
This Nahobino may in fact perform a feat that would put those two to shame and I figured out how he may do that: become one with the Great Reason in order to bring true harmony to the world and commit the ultimate act of revenge which is to set humanity free of the cycle of violence. I’m not talking about using the power of the Great Will which is what Nanashi did, that’s fine and all but becoming one with the Great Reason (The Axiom) would make him undoubtedly the strongest in the verse.
@@phillemon7664 with a username like yours, I'm incline to believe what you said. I'm not as well verse in the SMT feat of powers lore. Outside of the persona games, which I considers as no longer being in the same universe as the other SMT games, I've always imagine Demi-fiend and Seraph as being two of the strongest protag in the series. What you said is fascinating to me. Thanks for sharing. Need to more research on this.
Last Bible protagonist and Aleph are strongest, the weakest is Hero from SMT 1.
Nahobino is already the most powerful, he defeats Lucifer w/ YHVHs knowledge. Theoretically Nahobino consumes both of their knowledges when he defeats them as well, making him even stronger.

I don't regret playing SMTV on Switch at launch, one of the best JRPGs I've ever played. But my God... this looks like an entirely different game in many respects. Not to mention just being able to play the game on PC and Steam Deck in 4k and 120fps... I am so excited to go on this new adventure. And that goddamn soundtrack, that kino bass line. Damn...
Is it still mandatory to play the old SMT V on Switch or just wait for this newer version Boss?
@@wilsonism17 At this point, just wait for the new game. I spent about 80 - 90 hours on SMTV. Many people complained about the storyline in V being barebones as hell, and I'll admit it was even though to me the real joy of the game is all the demon sidequests. The Switch version also runs at 30fps which is a pretty big detriment to me. It was a great game, but it gave you this feeling of "this could have been better...". If SMTV was a 9, this game looks like it's going to be a 10. The Shin Megami Tensei game to match Nocturne we've all waited years for.

I pre-ordered and still hadn't beaten SMTV on Switch because I'm slow at RPGs and play several at a time. Atlus always releases new versions of their games JUST as I'm putting effort into completing the original. I had almost beaten Persona 4 on Vita when it released on PC. I had almost beaten Persona 5 when Royal was announced. I had almost beaten Persona 3 when Reload was announced. I just dropped them immediately because my time is better spent on the "definitive" experience

well one is Pokemon, and the other is SMT, they may be of the same genre but you're not gonna get what you want from SMT if you desire a Pokemon experience, and vice versa.

Paraselene Blur/Phantom Moon Flash, is possibly that he now fuse with both Tsukuyomi + Susanoo, or now Susanoo get Altered to Another God, Like Baalhammon/ Belhammon, Since Zeus and Baal (Hadad) have also mentioned that they have compatibility with MC because they are both Gods of the sky and weather. Belhammon is also weather god , and the only Bel who is associated with Moon... interesting
Now we just need Amaterasu to fuse and have all 3 so Nahobino turns into a Japanese super deity. XD

I enjoyed base SMT5 a lot but Vengeance looks like a potential Top 5 MegaTen game for me. I NEED the full version of this track 2:35

Now, this is the SMT V I've been waiting for. I feel like Atlus realized the base story sucked, so they decided to redo the game. I'm curious what the new nahobino design means. The original is supposed to represent the true ancient version of Aogami (Susano). Does aogami evolve into Susano proper, or does the Nahobino fuse with a new mythical being. We see him use a unique Light skill, which makes me wonder if Amaterasu is somehow related - especially considering that she is mysteriously absent from the original vanilla version of the game.
The new design kinda looks like the Tsukiyomi form, so it could be him. Or it could be Yuko

If it is a new deity, my money's on Baal. Specifically, Baal Hammon, as he is associated with both storms and the moon. Also, I dunno why, but I'm getting Baal vibes from the new design for some reason

I was thinking it could be a fusion of the protag, Aogami, and Tsukuyomi. Mainly because you still have Aramasa and Ruinous Thunder.
