Glad to hear the positive comments. I just bought a used one for my a7rV. The Tamron wasn't my first choice, but I can't afford the Sony offerings right now, & the used Sigmas are scarce. I saw some wonderful photos at Flickr from this lens, so starting to get excited about adding this Tamron to my cheap-but-good lens line up.
Yeah, this is a very nice glass, i actually sold mine and bought again after a year, i also sold many landscape photos from my site using this lens. I’m pretty sure it will offer you great value and performance too.
Love your content. I have the Tamron - 17-28mm lens. Just got it recently. Still getting used to it. I have to take photos of a door 🚪 on the exterior part of a home along with siding on exterior. What settings do you recommend for a day with sun ☀️ in the middle of the day ? I appreciate any suggestions 🙏 have a nice day and be well.
Def a great lens you have there bro. It might take some getting use to it, but believe me it works like a charm. A day with a sun might need some ND filter (depends on intensity), it will let you stay at f/2.8 for better background separation and without adjusting much the shutter speed. All the best

I got the sony 18 105 f4 and hate it. Amazing it sells for 600 new but loses it value dramatically. Now used selling for 400. F4 is lame
Agreed with you bro. This is def sharper than the f/4.
