Farmers in northwest China's Gansu are using a walk-behind paving machine to efficiently "plant" straw nets in desert areas to combat desertification. #GLOBALink
This is amazing. I most of the countries in Europe we destroyed so much forest, rain is much less than before. Water is becoming a huge problem thanks to us and our behavior towards to nature.

Well, all technology will start small. Even if it's very easy for us to think of ways to improve it, it still makes sense to first build prototypes and test the concept. If this works well I would expect this little machine to go through the same kind of evolution as our normal farming and harvesting equipment. Eventually an all-in-one, self driving machine that needs little to no human labour to run.
Great job for planting more trees forest on huge scale. Greetings From Indonesia 🇮🇩 trees planters comunity.
Nice, continuous efforts with better technology.
Amazing and wonderful China 🇨🇳 🤩
Incredible technology simple and effecitve
Even Chinese farmers are innovating to reduce labour intensive straw planting to reduce desertification.
👍👍👍👍👍
China a Pioneer! ThumbsUp!!

lack of livestock to clean the established forest is a bigger problem in southern europe
diverting flood waters into desert would be great

Soon desert on gansu province will become another saihanba. A nature forest full of trees.
沙漠中大工程,伟大!
其实很早就有这种甚至比这种更好的机器了,但是因为如果是用的话,很多农民就会失业,所以一直没有使用。
why the " new machine " don't runs itself the concave disk ?

Looks to me like a bit more unfortunate CCP spin.
