- I'm taking delivery of my 2008 997 Turbo and then 8 months later having to say good bye because some fool totaled it as I was trying to enter the freeway in Houston.
OMG, I am so sorry Bro. I have the same car in white, and would be heartbroken. Better though to be a write off Vs repair I guess. Enjoy the replacement!

Wow..... how did you get hit on the left side when entering a freeway? That is a very hard hit. Sorry to see the loss.
The idiot was on the right side of me and decided to make a left hand turn as I was trying to enter the freeway. It sucks but I just replaced her with a 2009 997 Turbo. I'll post the delivery and a few other tidbits soon.

Yes it was. The adjuster tallied up to $65k in body work, possible frame damage and suspension and had not even started on the internals before he wrote off the car. According to the body shop, 1st, 2nd and reverse didn't engage and they think the entire drive train was done. It really sucked as I pour serious cash into the Tubi exhaust, lowering springs, HRE rims, Sharkwerks ECU flash, etc.
