Emaans father's behavior towards Emaan serves just right. She is just rude.Being modern ..educated...and independent doesn't give you right to humiliate anyone.
Infact one shud be humble and modest.
And she didn't even asked zain what happened
So it’s ok for the dad to equip her with independence and later taking that away from her? She’s working with her dad as a team and he didn’t even disclose his health or her rishta intentions to her to discuss with her and getting her input. He put her in difficult position & was expecting her to go into hell without knowing the truth like his other daughters? Her personality could come across little impulsive but her behaviours are justified considering her surroundings & current relationships of her sisters. The only thing I say could be better, letting Zain explain to talk but lately he was being rude to her too and always calling her greedy. That’s a red flag, showing he can’t do well when under pressure & gets mean and aggressive.
@@seeya7610her dad was wrong but she was wrong too. If she loved Zain as she claims, she should have talked to Zain first to clarify everything before humiliating his family. But her Jahez paranoia affected her judgment.

My views on the show so far:
The show is great keeping South Asian societal standards and the quality of dramas produced (which actually perpetuate the problems by stooping to the toxic problematic mindset of a reasonable size of the population here).
I used to hate Savera initially and always wondered how the same father's upbringing could have resulted into the contrasting thought-processes of Iman and Savera. But after the latest episode, I'm glad she's improving.
Hiba Bukhari looks ethereal and has portrayed her role well. I like how she isn't super skinny (like Durefishan) unlike female protagonists and always dresses so modestly.
Shehryar is great as usual. His acting is skin deep. His body language as Salaar is so convincing (note how he walks with his shoulders drooped and always hunched forward). He conveys a characters traits in totality (was impressed with the body language he had as a Pakistani army officer in Sinf E Ahan where he used to walk like a confident lion).
The thinking of Zain's character is very 21st century. I like how he treated Iman except when she reminded him of the money his mother had apparently forgotten to transfer.
I had high hopes from 3 characters who have disappointed with their thinking and words:
Iman's father who shouldn't have kept his daughter in the dark knowing fully well how independent minded she is. Such paternalistic thinking (even if for purpoted happiness of the daughter) is unacceptable in 2024. He should have understood that Zain's mother would have never let his daughter live in peace and I don't expect Iman to be a dil who'd separate her husband from his mother.
Second, Salaar's mamu was expected to be impressed with Iman. He just became the exact
opposite.
Third, that middle sister's husband. He seemed nice (and so unlike his brother) in certain scenes like the bank loan one, by the way he behaves with his wife...but hell no....he is nowhere to be found at the hospital when Iman's father could do with all the help possible, especially emotional.
Dramas like this graze past perfection when they are very close for some reasons only they know. This very reason makes me want to write dramas of my own.
