This may just be personal preference, but I've always thought that "you are no longer here" and "I leave my gloomy room" are two separate thoughts. The last line is separated from the rest of the verse in all written versions I've seen and it gives the song a bit more of a hopeful feel.
Well trust me, it will. I havent published it anywhere because im not so confident it it completely right, i need to show it to my japanese teacher before to do so. After that, i can surely translate it to english too and publish on some j-music lyrics site
Came here from someone who posted to the public Snapchat story in Hawaii with these lyrics written on a flat surface in romaji that I took a screenshot of 2 years ago cuz I wanted to know where the words were from and just let me tell u this took a while lol
This song, it'll always be a reminder to me of a love gone by. All left in a barracks room in Pearl Harbor years ago by two dumb kids who didn't understand what love really was. She didn't value it, I couldn't comprehend it's impact. I left one day, out to sea, and she left soon after and I spent years trying to see past it. Scattered like flower petals in the water and it's after seeing my friend's warnings come to fruition that we no longer reached each other. It took me years to realize that I didn't still love her but clung to her memory out of loneliness. I had so many things I wanted to say to her, so many unspoken thoughts that eventually rose into the sky. It took me years to realize and accept that she was never coming back and that'd I'd have to eventually leave that gloomy room.
Can't believe I used to hate Aki-san, she's like a GAWDESS to me now!! I first heard her sing Rolling Girl and thought her voice was screachy and annoying, but only took me a second listen to make me realize how much emotions she put into her singing~! I admit she has quite a rough voice, so I think that rock songs suit her more though like FlashBack and Bye-Bye Baby Sayonara, and soft-rock songs like this one and Bungaku Shounen no Yuutsu where she sings low. Her art is AMAZING too!!!
to:YuzaSan13 her voice is so unique like a crying girl I think the soft-rock songs is also suit her ,very, much. just like the song--OUT OF THE HOLE is so amazing!!!!!
@@perpetualsystemsWe could. However I have no clue how long he responds and all that good stuff. There may be other translators we could request to. Not sure if sunny subs is still around, maybe we could request to her?
............. You obviously used Google Translate, because this song is not called "Hanatan", it's called "Hanabira". Try learning Japanese before you try to tell others off. And mind you, I do know this song is Hanabira. If you weren't paying attention to my first comment, I was talking about how this song (Hanabira), Bungaku Shounen no Yuutsu, FlashBack and Bye-By Baby Sayonara suit Aki's voice because she has a rough scratchy tone (in a good way, gives emphasis to rock songs).
gerçek
2020 still listening here

2024 WE ALL LOVE AKIAKANE!!!! 🐉💨🌞🤍🦢🌻
It's really cool to see that she still has fans even after so long, I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers her songs
I miss you Akiakane. Even after so many years, I am still in love with your voice and music.

Yea.
Suddenly remember this song
未だに聞いてる人いるかな……
No tiene su música en PlayMusic ni en Spotify ;-; 💔
Only Akiakane could sing it and make it sound so beautiful and powerful.
Is there this same video with English sub's somewhere? I like the sound, but have no idea what is going on...
i don't speak a lot of japanese (only a few basic words and phrases), but wow, the very end hit me like a ton of bricks.

What scares me the most is that this video will get deleted and no one will have archived it.
Akiakane is the best~~~~
Its been 9 years and still no English subs 😔
We probably won’t ever get eng subs either because of how niche the song is which is super sad.
